Josh.0 150 Posted August 4, 2015 http://www.nba.com/raptors/uniforms/homeSomewhat surprised they didn't put "TORONTO" on any of the jerseys, especially with how they have played up Toronto with their marketing.
TheRealPepman 411 Posted August 4, 2015 http://www.nba.com/raptors/uniforms/homeSomewhat surprised they didn't put "TORONTO" on any of the jerseys, especially with how they have played up Toronto with their marketing.I think the "TO" in the shorts stands out enough for everyone to know The Six.But yeah, I agree, one of the unis should have "TORONTO" on it. I suggest it should be on the red jerseys.
bowld 2,152 Posted August 4, 2015 I would put Raptors on the white and black/red and Toronto on the red and black/gold
JonYoung320 4 Posted August 4, 2015 I will never understand why teams think they are above putting their city on their uniforms.Because they could "one up it" and use TO as their side panel striping for their shorts. /s
IceCap 22,596 Posted August 4, 2015 They haven't worn "Toronto" on the road jerseys since 2003. They think that identifying with just Toronto will harm their efforts to be "Canada's team."It's stupid, but that's their reasoning.
Dynasty 2,418 Posted August 4, 2015 If they just went with a different font, these wouldn't be too bad.

JESSEDIEBOLT 147 Posted August 6, 2015 I definitely like the Raptors unis. Simple? Yes. Similar to last years unis? Yes. But they're still nice and I think they'll look great on the court.
Nyk33 881 Posted August 6, 2015 This Raptors rebrand is just "meh". The "Drake Alternate" is actually my favorite jersey of the bunch since I like the black and gold color scheme (I wish Stern would have let the Pelicans use that color scheme).
tajmccall 401 Posted August 6, 2015 Toronto is Brooklyn adjacent. Drake is Jay-Z adjacent. Both are blah carbon copies of meh.
CLEstones 628 Posted August 6, 2015 Yeah this rebrand is extremely underwhelming. Not having Totonto on any jersey is unfortunate. The "We the..." branding is nooooot great, either. I would have rather them put more emphasis on gold than black or gold than red. Something to differentiate themselves a little bit more. The fonts not matching is a big problem, and not matching the stroke pattern between numbers and letters looks half done. Losing the old secondary logo of the raptor claws coming out of the ball really sucks.Overall, its a serviceable uniform. Some decent sized errors. Nothing too egregious. A lateral change... maybe a slight downgrade. Also, is there any meaning behind the chevrons?
Nyk33 881 Posted August 6, 2015 Also, is there any meaning behind the chevrons? The chevrons are pointing upwards to signify the "We The North" slogan.
Old School Fool 4,411 Posted August 6, 2015 Dennis Schroder of the Hawks is on the cover of NBA 2K16 in Germany in a throwback jersey.I was gonna say this the first time a throwback was on the cover to a game, but then I remembered this unfortunate POS game...
