ConcreteCharlie
My alma mater, Bishop McDevitt (PA) has always had the Notre Dame-esque look and this season the helmets are now even closer. For years we had the flat gold helmets, but so far this year they are rocking the sparkling golden domes. They look pretty good. Against State College (who appears to be wearing Miami's old template)And here is the road look. Against Cumberland Valley. Really shining in this picture, but notice how some pants don't quite match.I wish my alma mater (North Catholic) still existed, but since it closed I kind of just root for the PCL in general. really sucks. FTRPresentation
Here's my alma mater (Good Counsel) in 1970's throwbacks (first time we've ever worn throwbacks)...(on the right)...just awesome. For the record, it's GC vs. St. John's (the school of Under Armour founder Kevin Plank). seattlesonicsofsacramento
For the "best high school football helmet in New Jersey" poll that was tweeted at Chris, I voted for Cedar Grove, since none of the helmets stood out as great to me and I think Michigan could use that matte one-off more often, but I thought Phillipsburg and Vineland both had well-personalized twists on certain trends (script logo and wide tapered helmet stripe, respectively). Seton Hall Prep, South Brunswick, and West Morris all rank just under those 2 schools for me, thanks to their helmet logos. seattlesonicsofsacramento
Cedar Creek may have a funky Atlanta Hawks color scheme going on, but I don't think any team tops Union's 110% Adiswag: "The pictures looked good on the computer," Will Brown explained
ConcreteCharlie
Does Cedar Creek still wear these helmets? I think they look niceEdit: just found out what they wear now. Gross

Chilton92
Looks like my alma mater, Northside Methodist Academy (AL) switched to green helmets. I think that's the only change this year. I can't post a pic since I'm on my iPad, but they posted some on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/NMAAthletics/photos_stream http://www.manic-expression.com
larrypep
Kearny High School (San Diego, CA) has had a storied history with their striped jerseys. It was a tradition they started in the early 60s and continued on until the early 2000s due to a rule that forbade them from mixing the two home/road colors on a majority of a jersey - in other words, a dark jersey could not have a major portion covered with white and the white jersey could not have a major portion covered in the school's dark color. Here is an article on the ruling: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/prep-rally/newly-enforced-esoteric-rule-forces-california-school-alter-100144091.htmlHere are some of their historical jerseys from the past. Since 2012 they had to forgo the iconic stripes but they were allowed to bring them back this year by making the stripes gray. What I was told (and apparently OK'd by the body that governs this sort of stuff) was the issue was mixing white with the dark color, but another dark color was ok. So Kearny brought back the stripes using gray on both the home and road uniforms. I haven't seen the road unis yet but here are the new home unis and they look pretty white to me:According to the article it says it had to do with length and "one other issue" which I believe was the mixing of white and the home color together. The length issue was probably solved by sticking to the shoulder area with the stripes (and not around the collar areas like they had done historically) and the color issue was presumably solved by using "gray" stripes. At any rate, we're pretty happy they have brought back the stripes to Kearny.
andycumbee19
Oh, man. That's an beautiful uniform, there. Just slap a white K on the side of the helmet, and it'd be perfect.
WavePunter
Adidas's techfit template or under armour's template used for USF and Hawai'i would work great to replicate those stripes without awkwardly breaking them up.. I love the concept and history though!
