soxkrazy
Does anyone know why it seems Nike refuses to make these available? MLB really does outshine the NFL when it comes to making Authentic Collection World Series jerseys available. Does Nike really NOT want more money that badly? Also, what company produces the SB jersey patch? Any help is appreciated.
walkerws
There's probably no one coughing up that kind of money for those. The base model is $200 cheaper and people don't like paying that. The people in the stands pay so much for the tickets that the jerseys are not important

MJWalker45
If the only difference is a patch, fans will buy the patches and place them on the jerseys. That's what college fans do too. The only reason Nike made them available as replicas is because they were stand alone uniforms, not part of the previous season's rotations. pcgd
Source of production also plays a role I'm sure. It's impossible to get jerseys from overseas within 2 weeks, which is the timeline you're given once you know who's actually playing in the SB. I bet you'll find Elite jerseys are decorated overseas while the replicas are decorated domestically.
WSU151
The official Super Bowl patches (the rubberized version) are not available for retail, which is kind of annoying as those are pretty nice patches. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

I know the on-field patch was larger than those used on the Game versions by Nike. My guess: 4 inches?
FiddySicks
They had both Seahawks and Patriots Nike Elite jerseys with the Super Bowl patch for sale at the NFL Experience at the Phoenix Convention Center last week, but they only had a few of them and they were around $800 if I'm remembering correctly.
