HedleyLamarr
For the game that likely decides his employment status at Georgia for 2016, Mark Richt looks to be going with Faton Bauta as UGA's starting QB against Florida. That's 3rd-string QB Faton Bauta, with the top two stringers healthy.Granted, Lambert has looked awful the last three games, and Ramsey is basically the same thing but unable to beat out Lambert...so why not go with the guy that's known to be a dual-threat. Even though their pro-style offense doesn't really suit a dual-threat QB.So Bauta does indeed start. But instead of using all his assets....the play-calling doesn't change much. Now that's a really odd approach. Granted, you're not going to change your entire offense in a two-week span, but that wasn't exactly the spark they were looking for. 230 yards of offense, 4 interceptions....Bauta looked like a, well, 3rd-string guy making his first start.Ramsey saw a good amount of action today as well....as the punter. Averaged over 40 yards, too.I see no justifiable reason to keep Richt at Georgia next season. "He's a good guy" and "Well, we almost won that game" doesn't mean much when you should be aspiring for national championship contention year-in, year-out. He's had top-10 recruiting classes just about every season since he's gotten here, and with zero national championships and now 10 years without even a conference championship. The next coach, at worst, can go ten years without a conference championship and national title.

GriffinM6
Refs screwed Miami over all game. If you watched Duke's previous drive, refs made terrible calls on Miami. Walton's knee touched the ground as the ball was coming out of his hand, therefore he is not considered down.
FiddySicks
So if Wazzu beats Stanford, is Portland Stat the best team in the Pac-12?Even if they don't pull out the win (they won't), it just shows how far that program has come just within the season. Big strides for a school like that. I'm actually terrified to play them next weekend. Sort of. EDIT: Yup, just as I expected. And no the ball wasn't in his grasp. It was on his fingertips. Don't even start on the blocks in the back, because that happens on nearly every return in football. And did you even see the BS calls against Miami on Duke's last TD drive? Absolute horse crap. Game should've never gotten to that point. It just baffles me that all these people are taking away from what was an amazing play that involved a player whose mother died on Monday. People will stay hating on Miami, but just keep it coming. They'll prove everyone wrong.

Sport
My favorite is the sideline player (#11 I think) who prematurely runs on the field without his helmet on, almost immediately realizes his mistake, regrets it, and then looks around around for flags, scared. He doesn't even join the pile in the endzone. That should've been flagged too.

He doesn't even join the pile in the endzone. That should've been flagged too. Along with the other 10 blocks in the back. Yeah, I'll have to agree that that play was the worst officiating I've seen. Worse than the "Fail Mary" for sure. Duke should've won that game, sorry Miami. It pisses me off because last week my team lost to Duke in 4OT with a (mostly) clean game. And Miami beats these guys on the last play because of several instances of inept reffing. Those guys shouldn't ref another game for at least the rest of the season. Also, is it time to admit Wazzu is good? The Portland State loss is bad, but they've played really well ever since. They really should've won that game last night. They're probably the second best team in the PAC-12 North right now anyways.

He started showboating at about the 10-yard line and the refs flagged him for unsportsmanlike conduct at the spot where he started goofing off.
