A funny thing happened at SEC Media Days... They pick Auburn to win it all, but not their division

They also picked the same team to both finish last in its division and have the first team QB. SECMD voters make no sense.
The way they described how Alabama could win the division but not the league seems like FIFA math.

Well, to be fair, that Western Division is going to be really, really competitive. Any of the 7 teams can either be in first place or in last and it not be surprising.

Prescott is, far and away, the best QB in the conference. There are a ton of question marks at QB in the SEC this season.

Anyone who thinks high-profile athletes don’t get preferential treatment from local/campus law-enforcement agencies is terrible, terribly mistaken.

:censored:, Notre Dame tries to play the all-righteous card so often, and there’s a policy between the athletic department and our campus police dictating that, effectively, the latter doesn’t say anything. NDSP’s arrest records don’t have to be made public. It’s so dumb.

ND fans/students have this great ability to get on the moral high horse whenever possible, and so, so many of them who bitched about Jameis Winston being a “rapist” would never engage in a conversation about Prince Shembo; who’s every bit as “guilty” as their favorite target.Lo

Look, there are jackwagons on every team. Sexual assault is so prevalent on college campuses that it’s effectively impossible to assemble a football team without an offender on it.

Only Carolina and Duke cared about it really. I love that neither has won it since 2011, but congrats on the white rabbit for the program to chase for the next 20 years though.;) And trust me, I know that rabbit very well.

BTW, if Notre Dame ever misses the playoffs due to no conference championship, we'll have the seat ready for ya.

...right next to UCONN ;)...

It took SMU nearly 25 years to get back to about 50% of what they were in the early 80's. And they had the luck of being able to recruit in-state high schoolers that wanted to play near home that didn't get accepted to the big Texas schools.

Not that the UAB program was much to begin with, but I wonder how long, if ever, it'll take them to get back to where they were. Their program is going to suffer way more than Penn State's did, and they weren't penalized for wrongdoings.

People pledged money, but they haven't written the checks. Apparently, many are due by the end of the year. We'll see what happens when it is either honor your pledge, or buy Christmas presents.

Braxton Miller is now officially a Wide Receiver for the Buckeyes, the offense just got that much more dangerous, as long as he stays healthy...

He had zero NFL QB possibilities, so this change is best for him, unless he really wants to play in the CFL.

It makes sense. All these excuses... good grief, guys! You have more advantages then any other league out there. You can't make excuses. You just can't.

Did it, though? The skill set that made him great at QB doesn't automatically translate to him being a great, or even good, WR. He's at Ohio State, him at WR just means he gets playing time over some other really talented WR -- it's not like now that he's at WR they don't have to rely on some one-or-two star schmoe.
