I think moving Braxton Miller to a hybrid WR position much like Jalen Marshall was last year was a good move for him and the team because he wouldn't have made it in the NFL as a QB and the team could use his athleticism elsewhere instead of being in a quarterback competition where his talent would be wasted.

Mississippi State isn't in the top-25? Weird. And look at Georgia Southern receiving votes :D And I'm kind of surprised Michigan State is that far up. I don't expect them to do poorly by any means, but after losing Langford and Lippett, I'd expect them to struggle a little more than last year.

They only have 7 returning starters (4 OFF; 3 DEF) and Manny Diaz returns as DC.

Miss State, who is predicted to have (and very likely will have) a bad season despite a Heisman Candidate at QB, isn't in the Top 25 and that's weird? lulz

I'm glad Mississippi State isn't ranked (Well technically they're at 26). They always seem to play better under the radar.

I'm not going to blindly defend my team here; I'll wait for the season and see how it goes. That being said, the "returning starters" thing is bs. They were infamously two-deep last year and in several cases the backups played way more time than the graduated "starters."

I'll admit I only saw 2 or 3 Mississippi State games but I feel as though that they had some depth especially on the defensive side of the ball. In all honesty, I don't think they will be that bad, provided Prescott can duplicate his performance of last year.

Nope, technically they're unranked because the Top 25 is just that, the Top 25. They may be just on the outside but the Top 25 is only the Top 25 and nothing else.

Being predicted to finish last in the SEC West doesn't really equal a bad season. Before the bowl season, the West only lost three games...total....to non-division teams (Auburn lost to Georgia, Arkansas lost to Georgia, Texas A&M lost to Missouri <_< ).

I think the worst record in the SEC West will be 7-5, assuming no team gets ravaged by injuries. You can really toss these 7 teams into a hat and draw lots and that prediction wouldn't be bad.

The Big Ten announced their new scheduling model today that will begin in 2016:

-Increase to 9 conference games

-At least 1 game against an out-of-conference Power 5 team (Notre Dame and BYU will count towards this)

-No FCS opponents.

Teams will likely be able to keep their schedule that doesn't follow this if there's already a contract.

EDIT- I realize now that you interpreted my post as me claiming them to still technically be "ranked" and saw an opportunity to be "right". That was not the intention of my statement. I mentioned it merely as an additional and relevant piece of information
