Rockstar Matt
Not necessarily. Carson was always going to get at least those 5. They've been in Spanos' corner from the start. There are only 2 proposals on the ballot. Either Rams/Chargers at Inglewood, or Chargers/Raiders at Carson. The Chargers are moving to Los Angeles no matter what. Nothing new there. Mac the Knife
I've said all along that Chargers/Rams at Inglewood would be the ultimate outcome. So I guess I'll either be completely right, or completely wrong. This would be a fun scenario though...- Kroenke buys the Denver Broncos from Pat Bowlen's family, turning over the Rams to the league.- Chargers and Raiders go to Los Angeles, with the Chargers going to the NFC West and the Rams to the AFC West.- Shalid Khan buys the Rams from the league, turning over the Jaguars in exchange.- The league finds someone willing to operate the Jags in Jacksonville until the lease expires, then moves them to London. The_Admiral
LA Times article poll asking which team would fans like to see move to LA?: http://www.latimes.com/sports/nfl/la-sp-nfl-los-angeles-owners-meeting-htmlstory.html 49% want the Rams, 20% for the Raiders and only 5% for the Chargers but the league recommends the Chargers and Raiders, who got 11%. What's so great about the Carson project? Kickbacks. STL FANATIC
Kroenke DENIED the right to move to Inglewood ALONE. Apparently what we've said here would be the case—three individual team applications up for vote—is NOT the case, though. Owners will now vote on Chargers-Raiders in Carson or Chargers-Rams in Inglewood. Quote JUSTIN STRIEBEL | PORTFOLIO | RESUME | CONTACT
Rockstar Matt
Basically, the owners are choosing between Rams and the Raiders. Then, which stadium they prefer. Quote Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC

FiddySicks
We're gonna end up with the Raiders and Chargers playing on top of a toxic wasteland and the Rams moving to LA anyway. God, this league has become such a shell of it's former self. 1 Quote On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) STL FANATIC
After another round of votes, Sam Farmer of the LA Times (@LATimesfarmer) tweets this: First round of votes completed. Rams/TBD in Inglewood gets more votes than Raiders/Chargers in Carson. Nobody at required 24 yet. TheOldRoman
I'll reiterate here that I'd get immense joy out of this if the League approves the Raiders and Chargers to LA, the Rams say FU and move anyway, and it goes to court.Honestly though, Spanos needs to go :censored: himself. The Rams should move to LA. The Chargers should make an actual good faith effort to stay in San Diego. The Raiders could go to LA if need be, but ideally they would get league assistance to get something done in Oakland.

Rockstar Matt
This means they'll be negotiating to make a deal work since there was no clear cut winner on the first round of voting. I'm relived to see the Rams had more votes initially. That could mean that's the deal they are negotiating Quote Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC

Just out of curiosity, do you not believe the Rams should make a good faith effort in St. Louis? Or are you just saying that's the best market outcome so that's what they should do? STL FANATIC
EDIT: I think this is referencing JUST the initial vote on whether Kroenke could relocated ALONE. (Without 24, he was not able to.) This should all be pretty wrapped up soon. Here's the results of that first round of voting from St. Louis sportscaster Martin Kilcoyne (@martinkilcoyne2) The #NFL owners began voting process with each proposal voted on. Inglewood #Rams vote was 21-8-3. 21 for. 8 against. 3 abstained. #fox2 Quote JUSTIN STRIEBEL | PORTFOLIO | RESUME | CONTACT

STL FANATIC
This tells you all you need to know about the way the NFL has handled this. Ian Rapoport @RapSheet One item to discuss: If #Rams/TBD wins the vote and gets to 24, how to add a second team without violating the Carson agreement. They're going to approve approve two teams in LA without knowing how they can legally get one of them there. STL FANATIC
It's pretty much over for St. Louis. The league is just trying to broker a deal between the three teams now. Basically, how are the Raiders and the Chargers going to dissolve their legal partnership, and then what's the partnership with the Rams going to be.
