This was worn during the ENTIRE 90's!

Except not with the Majestic logo :)

this thread has now devolved into "Uniforms Teams Wore in the 90's"

R.I.P.

Aww come on, the 90s was all about experimenting with the unthinkable.

Can't wait when we look at the hundreds of pages of college football uniforms in the "Most 2010s unform ever" here in a couple decades.

Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

I always liked this Mugsy photo:

I was present at a Bullets-Mavericks game in Dallas one year when the Bullets had both of them...they even ran a play where the two of them would stand next to each other on the wings...it seemed to be a planned stunt, but amusing to see live nonetheless.

Maybe not the most 90s looking but certainly up there. The mullets are noteworthy too.

HatcherAll-Stars.jpg

These were the first things that came to mind when I saw those.

I think Muggsy was officially listed as 7 basketballs tall.

Similarly, I think the Mariners used forest green and red in the 2001 ASG.

Coors Field personnel always wore green and purple jackets. Pretty sure the green was because of the seats and it seemed to fit the stadium.

Yup. Loved those.

I wish more teams would go a little out there for their ASG BP jerseys. Those were two of my favorite sets.

I'm honestly a little ashamed I own one of these.

Ashamed!?! That is an honor to own. I'd kill for one of those Long Beach Ice Dogs sweaters.

I'm looking at that photo...and I think the Mariners/MLB would have nailed it if they reversed the colors. AL in red, and NL in green...remember the AL Red Books and NL Green Books?

This without a doubt:

2015011507511522821186675200.jpg

It hits all the required Nineties uniform tropes:

1. Teal!

2. Cheesy cartoonish logo

3. Too many colors

4. Goofy number font

5. Bad, asymmetrical team name font

That "cheesy cartoonish logo" was the only good thing about it. And honestly, it should have been kept. It was the best logo the Pistons ever had.

Well... in R/W/B.

Agreed..

Diggin the Spud & Muggsy pic....lol (80's pic though and aslo I haven't seen a nameplate on a basketball jersey look the same as the team font too often.)

Good point. That's a really good job they did with the Bullets' nameplate font.
