Falcons hire Seahawks DC Dan Quinn as head coach.

There goes the Seahawks run...

If JAX fails to improve dramatically, they can just bring back Gus Bradley who was the DC before Quinn.

Or just move on to whomever is next in line on the staff. They have plenty of great coaches on the staff and Pete Carroll does a good job of having his fingerprints on the D but letting his DC inject their own personality. I doubt the defense slips much at all even with more money being spent on the offensive side of the ball. They do a good job identifying talent in the draft and coach it up as well as bringing in value level FA's.

As a Bills fan, I'm just glad Buffalo is an early buyer in the free agent market. They generally wait until everyone else gets their players, and pick at the scraps left behind.

I wonder what's more enjoyable for Boston sports fans -- the winning or the bitching. Seems like the former would cancel out the need for the latter, but I think the pull toward complaining is just too strong to completely let go of.

I'm leaning towards the bitching and 24/7 victim complex. Bill Simmons made an entire career out of it, after all.

Yeah, it's almost stunning how quickly Boston overtook New York when it comes to being completely obnoxious sports fans.

Congrats guys, you've literally become your enemy.

The only whining I hear over here is coming from non-Pats fans whining about Boston fans whining

There's a circular logic fallacy in your hot take.
