dfwabel
The Eagles trade has nothing to do with Sam Bradford. All it is is moving up in the draft from 20 to 10. I wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles traded off another player to get into the top 5 ahead of the Jets to draft MariotaAs we get close to the draft, the more in which PHI will have to get to #2 to get Mariota. Here's why...If you are TEN and you are a GM in Year 4 (Ruston Webster) and a coach in Year 2 (Ken Whisenhunt), drafing Leonard Williams does not help you long term. If you draft Mariota, at least Whisenhunt gets a "reset" on winning by at least two seasons. Webster's only QB draft selection was last year, using a 6th on Zach Mettenberger, who was coming off an ACL tear.
BBTV
So... the report of a swap of 1st round picks was false. The Eagles actually GAVE the Rams a 2nd round pick next year and a 4th this year, and in return only got a 5th this year. This is the worst trade I've ever seen. This can't be part of a bigger play to move up - you don't give away 2nd round picks to do that. There's an injury protection clause. Why would you include that if you didn't intend for him to be your starting QB?This is Chip Kelly just being a total idiot. You're telling me he couldn't get more for Nick Foles? He traded Foles, who was making under or around 1M, for Sam Bradford, and then threw in a 2nd round pick just because?I want to give him the benefit of the doubt. He seems like a bright guy, and this seemed like a brilliant move, before the details all came out. Now, I think this is a franchise destroying move. TheRicSlick
Salvation by the Bucs! They release the horrible F.A signing of LT Anthony Collins who was signed last year and was one of the biggest busts of last years F.A class. Oh, they also save $3 million with this move! Addition by subtraction, fellas!
rvrdgsfn
The Ravens trade Haloti Ngata to the Lions & a 7th round pick to Detroit for a 4th & 5th round pick. Ozzie better had something up his sleeve, cause wev'er lost a lot considering Torrey Smith, Owen McDaniel & now Ngata are gone.

In all likelihood Philly just got the Rams 3rd round pick next season for the price of a (pricy) expiring contract. Speaking of which, attention Nick Foles: J/K the Rams overpaid for a rental QB who needs a good line to compete and guess what the Rams need a new Center and a new Tackle. I hereby christen you "A.J. Feeley II" and hope you survive your time with the Rams. And remember: "If a storm comes, pray to God! If you are traded to the Rams, curse God, for he has forsaken you!". If Seattle punches in from 1 yard out, Revis thinks twice about joining a perennial loser. And do you think Brady even notices or cares when key players leave town anymore? I don't either.
