Big League worthy Minor League looks/identities

Why would that even be a problem, though? The league already has two "Cit (ies)"--New York and Orlando. So what if there's a second "United"?

Also...being that this is the first time I've seen those MNU kits...if MLS let's them in like that they'll instantly challenge for best-looking side. Those things are great.

They'll be called Minnesota United SC so people won't be confused.

Far as the Aeros go, their IHL look was better than the one posted...and as far as the SWB Red Barons, that should never have changed.

The OKC Redhawks had a pretty big league worthy look too...would it have killed the Dodgers to at least make em the Bluehawks? At least the Yankees' red aversion makes twisted sense.

Far as the topic, I'm thinking of the Florida Everblades.

The Seattle Thunderbirds, Swift Current Broncos, Edmonton Oil Kings, Medicine Hat Tigers, Belleville Bulls, Quebec Remparts. If the CFL is considered Minor League, I would automatically add the BC Lions, Toronto Argonauts, Edmonton Eskimos, (Home Jersey) and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats to this list.

All three would look miles above some of the looks in the NFL. I'd add Las Vegas Outlaws to this as well.

Um no

Please, tell us how those Arena uniforms are worse than the Jaguars. The old Rattlers uniform is essentially the Ravens' look, but with a great copper helmet. That Rattlers' uniform could easily jump into the NFL.

Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

Minnesota United FC

Here's a team that I hope brings their current look to MLS when they come up in a few years! I really enjoyed their rebrand in 2013 and think it would be one of the sharpest in MLS if they are able to retain all aspects of their identity with the move.

I'm still wondering if the MLS will allow two "United" teams - D.C. and possibly Minnesota. No one seems to be mentioning that.

Why on earth wouldn't they? Nobody blinked an eye when MLS added a second "City".

As for those uniforms, they've already ditched them.

New Minnesota United kits for the upcoming season.

Although I suppose they could adopt a throwback look when they get to MLS. ;)

The sad thing about the old Quebec Citadels and old Manitoba Moose, Chicago Wolves and the Rochester Americans is that they look better than half the teams in the NHL does. Those are some seriously good solid looks that would easily look good in the NHL.

Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.

I agree. The Chicago Wolves look is very classy and professional. I love their burgundy and gold color scheme. It is really unique and works well. I actually own their dark jersey. The whole organization is superb and a gold standard in how a minor league franchise should be run especially considering they are in a market with a NHL franchise.
