Sport
There was no way this series was going to end before game 7. Is anybody surprised Chicago won tonight? This is the series we all hoped for.
Unocal
The Blackhawks are Rasputin. They don't die easy. Kings/Canucks needed game 7 OT after nearly blowing 3-1/3-0 series leads. Phoenix needed all those OT's. Hell, even in 2009, Detroit needed 2 OT goals.
The_Admiral
The Blackhawks are Rasputin. They don't die easy. Neither team in this series has. The Ducks were down three and got it to within one. They gave up a three-goal lead the other night and won it in overtime. Both teams don't stop. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

Still MIGHTY
Yeah most people expected seven. Yeah this is a great series. Yeah these are just two good teams going at it. Yeah they're worthy adversaries. That doesn't mean I actually wanted to go to a Game 7. But here we go. Best/Worst thing in sports. Best if you win/are neutral. Worst if you're a fan in it/you lose.Oh boy. | ANA | LAA | LAR | LAL | ASU | CSULB | USMNT | USWNT | LAFC | OCSC | MAN UTD |
Unocal
Only the second time since 1967 expansion we have a pair of 'Winner take all for trip to the Stanley Cup FInals.' games The other time? 2000. Remarkably, every other time a 'Game 7 for trip to SCF' happened, the other series going on at same time never went 7. Two times in about 50-ish years. And to put things in perspective, neither of the teams in those game 7's (Dallas/Colorado/Philadelphia/New Jersey) made the playoffs this year while neither of this year's final four made the playoffs that year. Unocal
NBC also has to be happy that there's no real competition with their game 7's. No GSW/HOU game 6 to compete with for TB/NYR. And now I'm hearing CHI/ANA G7 will be moved to NBC instead of NBCSN. So, it's gonna be game 7 Russian Ratings Roulette. They can get the dream CHI/NYR or ratings disaster TB/ANA, and who knows how NYR/ANA or CHI/TB would be seen?

Unocal
I'm rooting for ANA and TB just because I don't want to hear all about the big markets dream matchup. Tampa's a lot more interesting than the Rangers, and I'm tired of seeing Chicago. I'd love to see Boudreau finally break through. Damn near everyone on the Blackhawks has a Cup already, and it's fun to root for the upstart instead of the same old same old.

But let's take a moment to comment on how the refs need to be kicked in the testicles for missing the blatant goalie interference which gave Anaheim their second goal. How is that not reviewable? Sport
A guy I work with told me he's rooting for New York and Chicago because "it's actually cold there". Maybe it's because I'm not new to professional hockey, but I almost never think about the climates of the cities playing anymore. It’s the only sport where it's even a discussion. Anaheim-Tampa would be a good series, probably the second on my list of preferences. I’m rooting for Chicago-New York though because that’s who I picked before the playoffs and I want to win the CCSLC pool.

nash61
I picked Rangers over Hawks from Day 1. Fingers crossed this works out.
