I'm not happy about this at all, and I'll be a lot more unhappy if Patrick Sharp's still in the lineup come October. But the cap is the cap, and there's not much you can do about it, unless you're the Coyotes, Flyers, and/or Kings.Morin has to be the Luke Ridnour in this deal. Q has such a hateboner for him, and also his heart kinda almost exploded last season. No. Corey Tropp is a garbage 4th liner who could barely crack the Blue Jackets forward lineup so don't even try to cheer yourself up about him. Anisimov is an underrated player who will be good for the hawks and from where I hear is working on an extension right now. His downsides are that he disappears for games at a time, can be easily injured (but who isn't in Union Blue?) and he's never quite as good as he looks like he could be.Dano is the real steal.
