Richards was stopped at the border on June 17. Saad was 22 years old and had all the tools. Really felt like the return should've been more. Mostly because of Morin coming back which is hilarious. He will die an IceHog.The theory is now I guess that outside of Anisimov, these players are simply collateral to be packaged with turds like Sharp and Bickell so they can simply sweeten offers to get them the hell away from the team.And I'm laughing at all the "WHOA MAYBE THEY'LL GET TARASENKO." No. Corey Tropp is a garbage 4th liner who could barely crack the Blue Jackets forward lineup so don't even try to cheer yourself up about him. Anisimov is an underrated player who will be good for the hawks and from where I hear is working on an extension right now. His downsides are that he disappears for games at a time, can be easily injured (but who isn't in Union Blue?) and he's never quite as good as he looks like he could be.Dano is the real steal. He'll be your favorite player by midseason if Quenneville lets him be himself.Thanks for the fill-in. Anisimov was what made this deal, as apparently Bowman's had a raging hard-on for him for a long time. He sounds like a slightly-less pornographic Patrick Sharp who plays center. We'll see.But Dano is only 20 and you're confirming what I'm reading around the intertubes. Lot of CBJ fans not happy to see Dano go. He's young. Seems smallish, but if the guy has a great touch for the game maybe Q won't insist he die an IceHog. Any insight on his defense? He's solid. His possession numbers are good and he's a quick little guy. He had 15 points in his last 15 games last year and there were moments when he was the best player on the ice.
