Getting rid of that 40 second play clock... Kidding aside I think the Giants should go back to the 80's with their uniforms because lets be honest here, if you buy a blank Giants home jersey (or any of the two Raiders ones) then your a sucker.

Lions: Ditch the black. (Essentially go back in time to the Sanders days but with the current logo; maybe tone down the stripes to today's reality).

The clowns at Nike will most probably do the exact opposite and ditch honolulu blue. Who gives a crap about team colors anyway... They must already be thinking about a way to get the NFL to approve black vs black games.

Ok - Here are my 3 changes:

1. Helmets

a. Falcons use Red as a base

b. Redskins use the spear and go to Burgundy base

c. Jets put the jet back on the helmet and go to Kelly Green

2. Uniforms

a. Allow teams to have a special "themed" uniform for 1 home date a year and only use normal home/away the remainder of the time. Themed uniform can be built around something in their team/city/logo/whatever (for example: NO gets Mardi Gras, IND honors the Indy 500, CLE goes "bulldog", etc.)

b. Get rid of monochrome sets

c. Teams ALWAYS use color at home and white unis on the road -- but get choice for playoff home games

<d. NFL chooses for neutral site games>

3. Logos

a. Get rid of every stinking 3D logo graphic on TV

b. Super Bowl logo goes back to having unique color scheme honoring the city/area

c. Make Cleveland pick a real logo

Bonus: Go to a 17 game schedule with only 2 preseason games

a. 8 home

b. 8 away

c. 1 neutral site

Should? Burn the Niners new unis & fire everyone involved.

There are select modern day sports brands you do not touch. Ever.

They even dressed a US national team primarly in white, black and volt. It's getting way out of hand...

There could be a new thread for untouchables... perhaps that's overkill.

Cleveland: Put a logo on those helmets. Seriously.

Washington: Change the name already. Nobody likes the current name anymore.

St Louis: Go back to LA and bring back the old colors.

Tampa: Change the number font and put the pirate ship on both sleeves.

Baltimore: Stripes on the black pants.

Jacksonville: Solid black helmet.

San Diego: Navy helmets.

Dallas: Standardize the blue and silver.

49ers - Burn the black alternate before you wear it. Red facemask would be better than gray.

Bears - Never wear an orange jersey again.
Bengals - KISS. Keep it Simple, Stupid.
Bills - The tapered helmet stripe is the only flaw I see.
Broncos - Time to move on from this look, it was a good run.
Browns - Admit the mistake and go back.
Bucaneers - Admit the mistake and go back.
Cardinals - Lose the piping and forced black
Chargers - Lose the navy, powder blue and yellow only.
Chiefs - No more red monochrome.
Colts - Fix stripes, bring back white or blue facemask.
Cowboys - Pick one silver, one blue...and go with that look.
Dolphins - More orange.
Eagles - Replace Chip Kelly with Kelly Green.
Falcons - Lose the panels and piping, back to early black Vick career look, or red hetmet with corrent logo.
Giants - Lose gray facemask for white, outline numbers on both jerseys since each is missing a main color.
Jaguars - Would look great with a single-color helmet, gold preferably but black works too.
Jets - Kelly green if Nike can't fix the dark green.
Lions - Silver and Honolulu Blue only. Nothing else needed.
Packers - New throwback since they can't wear the brown helmets with them.
Panthers - Black better than silver for helmet.
Patriots - Red 3rd jersey, white helmet with Elvis logo.
Raiders - Silver outlines numerals on white jersey.
Rams - Return to Royal/Athletic Gold.
Ravens - You are ugly. Overhaul. At least dump the batterina tights.
Redskins - Bring back burgundy pants, make gold pants striping match jersey stripes.
Saints - No more stripless pants.
Seahawks - Stop using monochrome sets.
Steelers - Lose bumblebee/prison suit throwback.
Texans - Lose the red pants forever and maybe make blue more consistant with Texas flag.
Titans - Overhaul everything.
Vikings - Your numbers are inconsistant and funky. Fix those.

My 3 picks:

1. Baltimore Ravens. Ditch the black leotards and if anything switch to purple pants with a gold/white/gold stripes on the sides.

2. New York Giants. Go back to the 1980s and 90s uniforms with white pants or if anything blue pants like they did in the mid to late 70s.

3. Atlanta Falcons. Get rid of the "Arena Football" or "CFL" uniforms and go back to the simple red jerseys with gray pants like they did in the 1980s and add a black alternate jersey. And go back to the original red Falcon helmet.

And as a bonus: Carolina Panthers should just get rid of the white pants period. Stick with silver pants for home and away jerseys, and/or use the black pants as well.

My rules:

- piping is bad

- outlines are generally bad

- BFBS is always bad

49ers - new alts, never wear em. otherwise, perfect.

Bears - 100% perfect as is
Bengals - get rid of the side panels
Bills - get rid of the unnecessary navy blue outline on the numbers, otherwise perfect.
Broncos - elway-era throwbacks are better but prob not gonna happpen
Browns - just change the numbers to white / brown and it's tolerable
Bucaneers - change the numbers, add more orange
Cardinals - Lose the piping
Chargers - Lose the navy and excess outlines
Chiefs - perfect (except for monochrome)
Colts - perfect
Cowboys - perfect. multiple silvers + blues is cool + unique
Dolphins - More orange but the look grew on me last year
Eagles - Get rid of the deep teal + funky number font. Embrace kelly + gray
Falcons - start over again. less is more. red helmet??
Giants - perfect.
Jaguars - tear it down. go back to the 90s original look.
Jets - a brighter more vibrant green but it's fine as is. J-E-T-S suck suck suck!
Lions - get rid of all the black, change the number font, get rid of the outlines
Packers - perfect, change nothing
Panthers - fine as is. maybe an outline on the logo again.
Patriots - get rid of the side panels
Raiders - perfect as is.
Rams - bright blue + yellow please. go retro!
Ravens - put a stripe on the damn pants.
Redskins - no problem with em. change name to the "ameriskins"
Saints - never ever wear black pants. make the gold darker too.
Seahawks - they're fine. i've grown accustomed to the monochrome look
Steelers - totally fine as is.
Texans - totally uninspired right now, always have been a copy-cat look. so maybe new colors? nah. who cares.
Titans - new helmet NOW. your jerseys are fine, just bring back the columbia blue pants and burn the navy pants.
Vikings - perfect except for the jersey #s

RAMS - With the return to LA, bring back to Royal and Athletic Gold. And a more block number set, as someone already said Jack Youngblood! But a slight modernization to the helmet would not be tragic, ala the Vikings new horn.

Bengals - Sublimate the shoulders to match the helmets, and update the Bengals helmet striping. and for gods sake, fix the pants!

Vikings - go back to the deep purple helmet, keep the modernized horn.

Dallas - Blue and White. Two colors... no stokes on numbers, like this...

Don't know why people bother with Dallas concepts. They will never change their uniform to make it make sense, they love being hated. If anything they'll add a fourth shade of silver, and black accents on just the blue jersey.

I don't understand why so many love the Skins spear helmet. While I like it, I prefer the current much more. But hey, that's just my opinion.

I like the spear helmet too, but I agree the current color scheme and helmet logo are dar better.

The spear logo has now been copied by hundreds of college and high school teams, so going back to it now would make them resemble an amatuer team more than a pro team. Most people won't realize they had it first anyway.

It would make a great throwback for nostalgia, but going back to it now would be a downgrade. The current logo is solid. You can't get a more poweful meaning than that.

Look at the two options, there's no wat the spear looks better.

Of course, these are all minor complaints compared to the biggest change they need to do: bring back burgundy pants for the road.

Amen! There is no reason to have white pants. White over Burgundy and Burgundy over Gold are the two best combos for them. White pants ruin the look with either jersey. The solid white was horrible. I only tolerated it because they won 7 straight games at the end of the season to take the division and make the playoffs when they wore them. Won a playoff game that year too. So other than the superstition factor, I hated them.

Washington - Nice color scheme and uniforms, but they could definitely support other logo's or nicknames.

Cowboys - don't think anyone would see a departure from the basic set, though we could standardize between the white look and the blue look and make it sharper.

49ers: Like the Packers, Steelers, Raiders, Bears, Cowboys, and Colts... no alt required. Teams like the Dolphins who usually wear white at home need no alt, the color jersey is like an alt... rarely seen.
