Outgoing Fifa president Sepp Blatter is backing a proposal for the world governing body's top officials to pass integrity checks.

Fifa's executive committee will discuss the proposal in Zurich on 20 July, when it will also set the date of the new presidential election.

Of course he does, since he'll never have to pass one and he's already been paid.

Welcome to the 2018 FIFA World Cup opening match from sunny Rose Bowl In Pasadena, California.

2018 will be at Wembly Stadium, London

2022 will be at the Rose Bowl

Could England really host on 2 years notice? Remember many of their stadiums aren't up to the FIFA standard at present which is why they wanted and needed the lead time originally.

In a nutshell. Yes.

I still reckon the 2018 will be in Russia regardless.

As for 2022 that is more up in the air with all the recent corruption charges.

Will not really matter anyhow as the English Football Association have stated they will not be looking to host either 2018 or 2022

If the bids were reopened I'd expect them at the front of the line. I'm also wondering if any other bids that were confirmed to be shady would be kicked out too? Spain/Portugal joint bid would probably be tossed too.

Swiss Nespaper Blick are stating that Blatter told a group of people attending the Fifa museum that he has not resigned. He has said he put himself and his office in the hands of the Fifa congress.

The more that gets reported he backtracks more and more on what has been said previously. No wonder Fifa is in such a cluster:censored: of a mess.

Meanwhile it has also been reported he may not travel to Canada to present the trophy of the Women's world cup.

He probably thinks that the moment he steps foot onto Canadian soil, the US will indict him and Canadian authorities will arrest him to extradite him to the US.

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)

Looks like La Liga isn't waiting for Qatar to be shaken loose. They've sued FIFA in the Court for Arbitration of Sport over World Cup 2022, namely it being moved by physical and logistical necessity to winter. Their contention, they're going to lose 65 million Euro during the protracted league shutdown FIFA is mandating during the 2022 World Cup and that FIFA's bribe to UEFA to be split among the leagues does not cover their losses. Hopefully they're not the last league to sue.

And if 2022 is pushed back into the summer, it's a foregone conclusion it's not happening independent any of the other reasons Qatar likely is going to end up not happening.
