Brett Gardner fined for wearing white spikes?

I think too many teams with zero black on their uniforms wear black cleats.

Why wouldn't the Yankees look good in navy cleats with white and gray details and no black at all?

I've always thought the Angels black cleats look silly for a red team especially compared to the Phillies who use red cleats with no black.

Is BCFBS (Black Cleats For Black Sake) now a thing?

Probably is.

I think it's just an example of taking "traditional" too far.. Like with Penn State, JoePa wanted his team to look slower on film so he avoided white cleats and went with the only other option at the time - black.. Now that there are other alternatives that would look equally classy, I don't see why a team like the Yankees don't just make the switch.. I also don't understand how no one here has brought up the fact that navy and black DO NOT go together.. Huge fashion faux pas.
