BlackBolt3
Yeah, the game against Arizona in 08 and 49ers in 14 were just plain ugly. It's more of a superstitious thing at this point, which isn't exactly quantifiable, so they just go with what works. Would they have completely given up the game today if they wore black? We'll never know, but if they did, there would be a decent contingency to blame it on the uniforms.
2001mark
That 31-0 was too much... plain and simple. I give Carolina credit for jumping out like gangbusters early. Now, the hard part for Seattle fans: Is this where the window starts to close? I get the feeling that Lynch is all but done in Seattle... you have guys that are going to be free agents and, more often then not, get scooped up by other teams. I get the feeling that the championship window is starting to shut and I fear it'll shut with their hands on the windowsill.A window might be closing yet can't possibly be shop closing after that. Wilson's moxie reminds me of Ben's & Flacco's... after winning a ring, they never panic. Wilson threw 2 needless INTs today, that shouldn't take away their confidence after taking over the 2nd half against the #1 seed at home up 31. The Beastmode era is over though. That's fine, Wilson played his best this season without relying on him.I'm seeing Carolina 31 - Arizona 24 next Sunday. @2001mark
FiddySicks
Yeah Lynch is probably either going to play for the Raiders, or just retire to Oakland. Same thing, really. DG_ThenNowForever
Wilson is a top five quarterback. As long as he's there, Seattle will be fine. 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags

I get the feeling that the championship window is starting to shut and I fear it'll shut with their hands on the windowsill.I think every team has a small window (New England has had two within a span of 10 years) and yes I do think its shutting, but the Seahawks may have a year or two left in them. This is provided they can keep the core of the defense together. Lynch, IMO, is certainly done in Seattle. He is getting long in the tooth anyway, as far as NFL careers go. I don't know what to think of Wilson. He seems to be improving as a QB but I don't think he'll ever be elite. He has benefitted quite a bit from a dominant defense. So like I said before, keeping the core of the defense intact is a must. It'll be an interesting off season for the Seahawks.
FiddySicks
Denver really looks like crap so far. This is setting up to be a Star Wars style Super Bowl. The Evil Empire vs the young guns/Rebel Alliance*. * Ive seen Star Wars maybe twice. Go easy on my references. infrared41
So, I've been looking all over for it and cant find it anywhere. Any idea on why the Panthers decided to go all white at home today? No idea, but I do like that we got to see that Seattle combo.
andycumbee19
4 drops already. 3 of those 4 would've resulted in a first down. This is what this team does this year.

Maybe toss a grey *ducks* facemask on that helmet to balance the top out a bit more and it's kinda perfect. FinsUp1214
Denver's playing so poorly that even if they won, I think they'd get shredded by New England. But if Pittsburgh wins, it's safe to say they'd find a way to pull play after play out of thier rear and luck thier way to the Super Bowl yet again. Or New England would against them. *shivers*I'm afraid at this point, the way Denver looks, there's no escape from one of the evil empires reaching Santa Clara. Go Carolina/Arizona. I hope the team wearing white beats New England in Super Bowl 50.

Rockstar Matt
C'mon Denver, we cannot have a Steelers-Patriots AFC title game. Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC
FinsUp1214
The good news? Denver takes the lead! The bad news? Ben's got 3 full minutes to reach in and pull a drive out of his rear. I mean, Denver probably milked as much time out as they could. But we've seen this movie before. Mind fumbling again, Toussaint?EDIT: 23-13! Well that's a better cushion! BlackBolt3
I would've paid good money to see Peyton go QB sneak on the last drive.(Yes, I know he's an old man, and no, I shouldn't be the Broncos offensive coordinator.)
