I used to like him as a kid, but as I've gotten older I can't stand how disinterested and bored he always sounds about what he's doing. I'd even listen to Doc Emerick call this game 1,000 times over Buck, and he doesn't even call football! (So far as I know...) Anyways, Carolina is looking pretty dang good so far. I thought maybe as the playoffs started that they may have been a little too underestimated; they're showing so far that they really are the best team in the NFC, and possibly the league. I feel for the guy, he's a player I've always wanted to see succeed. But he's played really poorly both today and last week. You've just got to protect the ball if you want to beat a team like Carolina. If he keeps trying to force throws like that in the second half, then we can start talking blowout. As a Browns fan, I agree. I still can't figure out how the Panthers lost a game. They just seem to dismantle teams at a fundamental level. Whatever they're good at, they just use against them. Can't wait to see what type of trouble they give Manning in the Super Bowl. If they get too him quick, we might have another 43-8 type game.
