So happy for Demarcus Ware. He finally

got that deserved Championship. He's already a Hall of Famer but this just solidifies it.

And happy for Peyton. He also ended that football injustice in which his brother had more titles than he did.

As a Cowboys fan, D-Ware was my favorite player on the team outside of Jason Witten.

I'd love to see Witten win a Super Bowl title, because he too deserves one. I just wish Ware got a shot to win one with Dallas...but I'm still happy for him regardless.

Screw this "mulling it over" crap. Peyton better announce his retirement, hop on a white stallion and ride out of the stadium for good tonight or I'm gonna torch a car.

This is my question - according to the so-called experts, the knock on Manning has been that he only has one Super Bowl ring. He plays, to put it kindly, an average Super Bowl, gets the all-important second ring, and now his "legacy" is suddenly a whole lot better than it was before this game started?

He finally learned from Eli, and just let the defense do the talking ...

I saw, I came, I left.

It's one of those things where in 5 years, nobody will remember that all he did was hand off and just not be stupid, but they're remember how he "lead" his team to victory.

Honestly, leadership is a very important quality and you could argue (though obviously never prove) that even a better QB might not have gotten the most out of that team tonight because of how they rally around him.  Even if he's not throwing 5 TDs, there's intangibles that need to be celebrated.  I'm one that's gone from Manning hater to Manning fan in the past several years (though I was sorta rooting for Carolina tonight, even though I only saw around a half of the game.)

Good to see Peyton get his second one and while I don't mind the Broncos, considering they've obtained three in the last two decades, I'd like to see them step aside and let someone new, like the Panthers or someone else, get their first. As much as I was kind of pulling for the Panthers for contrarian reasons, I'm happy to see Newton get served on a national stage. All the dancing and Superman crap he does got annoying and I expect him to pick up his own ring with a renewed attitude sometime in the next 3-5 years.

Let's face it, guys... this game has to be the first time Cam Newton got his ass handed to him by a superior defense in a big time game. That never happened when he was at Auburn.

Give Denver (and John Elway) credit. They learned from their mistake two years ago when Seattle jacked them up big time... Defense still wins championships, people.

Oh yea, thanks for reminding me of that. I was rooting hard for Oregon in that game and remember that assbag stopping them. Now I don't feel so bad!

That is what we do.  We count Super Bowls.  Russell Wilson's choke last year made Brady the best ever.  We count Super Bowlsand ignore circumstances.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking Peyton Manning. I thought he was great before this. It just bugs me that there are plenty of people out there who think this win somehow validates Manning's career. It's nonsense. And I agree with you about the leadership thing.
