Christ, is there anything you enjoy about sports?

Pats win? You complain.
Carolina can go undefeated? You complain.

I suspect you want parity, but I don't know if that would make you happy. You'd just :censored: about whoever happens to win during any given season.

As far as picking them is concerned, I've never been able to figure out Miami this year. They can beat decent teams like the Jets and Eagles but drop games to the Jaguars, Chargers and (almost) the Ravens? I dunno.

I'm a Dolphins fan and I've been trying to figure that out myself. They're absolutely unpredictable when it comes to those kinds of games (or any game, for that matter). Actually, it's almost as if they're unintentionally trolling me and other fans.

Every team goes 8-8. That's the only formula for success.

Actually that's a good base for a dystopian future NFL. "Man, Mecha-Goodell is gonna have a hard time explaining his actions regarding the recent outbreak of electronic lover abuse amongst the football soldiers of all 64 teams."

Well, whatever Norman did to get into Beckham's head worked. I wouldn't think for a minute that OBJ would blow his top like he did today. With the Giants on the brink of elimination, crap like this shouldn't fly...

Can the Eagles offense quit turning the ball over?

had they won, then their week 17 game with NYG and Washington's week 17 game would have been meaningless, as the division would have been decided next week.

Im confident that Fox and the league told them to (literally) hand this game to the cardinals so that the week 17 games will get better ratings. Of course the eagles need to win next week for this to be proven.

edit - see how easily the eagles can score? Further evidence that this game was fixed. Eagles would be winning by 40 otherwise.

Someone on the Cowboys forums pointed out this extraordinary coincidence:

"2007 - Giants lost 38-35 to the undefeated Patriots. Beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

2011 - Giants lost 38-35 to the undefeated Packers. Beat the Packers in the playoffs in route to beating the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

2015 - Giants lost 38-35 to the undefeated Panthers."

Here I was hoping the Eagles didn't win the division for the hilarity, but now, I'd rather have the Eagles/Redskins win the division over the Giants.

Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC

I am scared to death of the Steelers in the playoffs. This feels way too much like 2005.

If I were an NFC team, I'd be most afraid of the Seahawks; luckily the Patriots are in the AFC & at least know they can match-up well enough with the Steelers.

It'll be fun to see the Panthers or Cardinals probably have to face the Seahawks & learn what playoff football is all about.

1. Fine, no suspension for ODB/OBJ.

2. David Johnson, oh my Lord. Those reports about Chris Johnson maybe being able to come back for the Super Bowl should the Cards make it that far? Nah, we're good, Chris.

College sports as we know them are just about dead. The lid is off on all the corruption that taints just about every major program and every decision that the schools or the NCAA make is only about money, money, and more money. We'll have three 16+ team super-conferences sooner rather than later, killing much of the regional flair and traditional rivalries that make college sports unique and showing the door to any school that doesn't bring money to the table in the process. Pretty soon the smaller schools are going to have to consider forming their own sanctioning body to keep the true spirit of college sports alive because the NCAA will only get worse in it's excess from here

Yeah, I think he kinda has to be. Even if he wasn't having a great year, which he is, he basically already won that just by stepping foot on the field this year.

Carson Palmer is kinda stuck in a rough spot. He's having an amazing year coming off of a big injury, but there are two guys ahead of him in each category that'll probably get the nod over him (Cam for MVP, Berry for CBP).

Just as long as they don't give CBPOTY to freaking AP. That would be the Rodger Goodell-iest move ever, though. Give the CBPOTY award to a guy who missed time for committing child abuse above a guy coming off of a severe knee injury and a cancer survivor.
