I am scared to death of the Steelers in the playoffs. This feels way too much like 2005.

If I were an NFC team, I'd be most afraid of the Seahawks; luckily the Patriots are in the AFC & at least know they can match-up well enough with the Steelers.

It'll be fun to see the Panthers or Cardinals probably have to face the Seahawks & learn what playoff football is all about.

Umm...Arizona was in the playoffs last season and Carolina has won the NFC South the last 2 seasons in addition to this season.

Yeah...first, they are the Steelers. Second, assuming they get in, they'll be the hot team. Third, lots of injuries on other AFC contenders. I would not be the least bit shocked to see them in the Super Bowl.

In the NFC, I think the up-and-comers that contenders would rather not see get in are the Giants...not just because of that bizarre stat pointed out above, but because they've lost a bunch of close games and they have a QB that's been through it. Most of the NFC should be pulling for the Vikings next week.

Disclaimer: If this comment is about an NBA uniform from 2017-2018 or later, do not constitute a lack of acknowledgement of the corporate logo to mean anything other than "the corporate logo is terrible and makes the uniform significantly worse."

At this point it looks like the likely games would be Cards/Steelers again or Patriots/seahawks again.

Unless the Giants make it in. If so I'm not sure how I'll react except badly.

Yeah that sucks. He was having a great year.

I'm REALLY hoping we can avoid a Super Bowl rematch this season. Especially one including Seatte or New England. Another Steelers Super Bowl wouldn't be much fun, either.

We're probably going to end up with Giants Pats 3.0.

I'm not getting all this sudden Giants love at all. You know, you can't come back from a 28 point deficit unless you're bad enough to fall 28 points behind in the first place. I think if the Panthers hadn't fallen asleep, they could've scored 48, easy.

Those previous Giant playoff runs came about because the Giants could play defense, and when they wanted to, they could put vicious heat on a quarterback, which is a skill that will always give you a chance to win. This team's D is pathetic.

Yeah but even though they had a good defense, they STILL basically backed their way to two titles on the shoulders of the most Forrest Gump like throws and catches imaginable. Just giving them an opportunity to do that again makes me feel a bit sick.

I've seen teams named the Giants bulls**t their way to too many titles this past decade to ever count them out :P

Arizona is the NFC's Bengals imo. Until they prove me wrong, they're not at all intimidating.

NFC South/

Arizona would have done far better last season had the Rams not ended the season of both their starting QB and their (original) backup QB in the two games those teams played last season.

Someone on the Cowboys forums pointed out this extraordinary coincidence:

"2007 - Giants lost 38-35 to the undefeated Patriots. Beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

2011 - Giants lost 38-35 to the undefeated Packers. Beat the Packers in the playoffs in route to beating the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

2015 - Giants lost 38-35 to the undefeated Panthers."

Here I was hoping the Eagles didn't win the division for the hilarity, but now, I'd rather have the Eagles/Redskins win the division over the Giants.

As a Patriots fan this is some scary stuff.

Definitely NSFW.

Love his acting around 1:00, and his live reaction to the pick-6 a minute later.

I wonder how much money that cost Gregg Williams?

You mean into the bounty pool? Probably a couple grand at least.

Apparently the Niners couldn't figure out math. Late in the 3rd, down 24 to Cincy, they scored a TD. 3 TDs plus 2 point conversions would tie it. So instead they just kicked the extra point. I won't ever figure that out. They are also 0 for 6 on challenges this year. Tomsula should go, but obviously Jed needs to go first.
