Clipboard Jesus was placed on IR today. It's now up to BJ Daniels. This means that the two best teams in the AFC South (Colts, Texans) are down to their 4th QBs. People keep making jokes about the NFC East being terrible, but I'd say that title belongs to the AFC South.

BJ Daniels is on the Texans.

Reading up, the Colts worked out Josh Freeman today. They signed Stephen Morris from the Eagles practice squad last week.

I'm praying for actual Jesus under center on Sunday.

Step 1: Broncos beat Bengals - CHECK!

Stephen Morris is who I was thinking about. My apologies. But in a sense, same difference.

Implying the Chargers and/or Raiders and/or Rams move to LA before the 2016 season, where would they play while a Stadium is being built?

Most likely the LA Coliseum, Possibly Dodger Stadium.

The NFL refs have gone from bad to mind-numbingly bad over the course of this season.

Teams have no challenges available during overtime... unless you call a timeout, throw a flag on the field anyways, & whine about it all.

The great news is this lets the Patriots off the hook a little more.

The Chargers are such an absolute garbage organization. What a lovely send off they gave Eric Weddle.

http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2015/12/28/10677010/eric-weddle-san-diego-chargers-fine-2016-daughter

He was in the wrong. No doubt about it. He messed up, and he should've informed someone or at least asked. But even still, ten grand for something that petty? Only an organization as garbage as the Chargers would ever pull that with one of their longest tenured vets at the very end of his contract. It's nothing short of vindictive on the part of Dean Spanos, and shows just how little character he has. How can anyone support a team that's run by people who treat both the players and the fans like such garbage?

So despite losing to Brandon Weeden and the Texans for the first time at home last Sunday and relying on Clipboard Jesus Charlie Whitehurst this upcoming Sunday, the Colts can still make the playoffs. They just need a couple things to happen.

They need:

  • Broncos to hold on tonight against the Bengals
  • Colts beat Tennessee on Sunday
  • Pittsburgh beat Cleveland
  • Denver beat San Diego
  • Atlanta beat New Orleans
  • Jacksonville beat Houston
  • Miami beat New England
  • Baltimore beat Cincinnati
  • Buffalo beat Jets
  • Oakland beat Kansas City
That's all they need to earn the potential tiebreaker over Houston and win the AFC South.

Easy.

Yeah, so this is definitely Manziel's last game as a Brown and probably as an NFL player. What an idiot.

http://deadspin.com/mike-pettine-doesnt-have-much-to-say-about-latest-video-1750095025

I totally get alcoholism and how hard it is to stop drinking when you have a problem. I've seen people convulse from withdrawals up close and personal. So when it comes to that, I don't blame Manziel all that much for this issue.

But you know what I do blame him for? Continuing to film himself with drinks in his hands and time/date indicators everywhere when he KNOWS how much trouble it can get him Into. Go ahead and do your thing, Johnny. But put the :censored:ing phone down you God damn idiot!

This shows me that the alcoholism issue he has is separate from his most serious issue. And that issue is that he's a complete and total moron. The way he videotapes himself/allows himself to be videotaped while doing this :censored: is the real issue. Any CTE riddled numbskull knows that if they have those types of issues that they should, in the VERY LEAST, be trying to avoid cellphone cameras like vampires avoid the sun. But, no. He doesn't even have that much common sense.

I've mostly been a Manziel supporter throughout this. But not any more. The dude isn't responsible enough to handle the third shift at a Cleveland area Denny's.

I won't be surprised if he ends up with Tennessee. Actually, Chip Kelly is such a mastermind he probably intentionally tanked the Eagles' season so he could get fired and find his way to Marriotta and the Titans.

RE: the Bengals - I will never see this team in the second round of the playoffs. It isn't allowed to happen.
