FiddySicks
Not good at all. These remind me of those generic polyester USA shirts you can pick up at Wal Mart around World Cup time. Also, not a fan of the new crest. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) Cosmic
I think it might have been interesting if the million little stripes on the sleeves were navy, which might have brought it down to more of a royal blue (two blues US teams normally wear), instead of having royal/sky blue. Okay... I take back what I said about the US's blue sleeves. THIS is Argentine blue.

FiddySicks
So, is that the lighting playing tricks, or did they actually darken up the sleeves? The home kits actually don't look half bad there. The clash kits are still BFBS trash, though. And if if they were going to insist on contrasting sleeves, why not put that on the primary as well? One red sleeve and one blue sleeve with the white body would have been kinda cool because of that whole little red white and blue thing. Some of this stuff just seems SO obvious. How does Nike miss details like that? Who are these dunderheads they have working in their design department? Here are a couple of screenshots from the KickTV snapchat, which is at the big Nike unveil of all the kits: Could still certainly be the lighting, but the sleeves and shoulders definitely look better than the replica leaks. JosiahWVU
At least those are red, white, and blue. Not BLACK!
Digby
Sleeves look more periwinkle than sky blue in these pics... but either way, navy would have tied in with the new crest so much more! Gothamite
The sleeves look lighter on the white jersey because the tiny pinstripes are white, whereas they're black on the black jersey. Context is everything - colors are influenced by the surrounding shades. And damn, that badge looks good with the three stars. Kinda coming around on that black kit. I don't think anyone was confused about that. I think what they were inquiring about was whether or not the sleeves were darker than the initial replica leaks showed. The replica leaks made the sleeves look powder blue, whereas the authentic kits definitely make them look like more of a royal blue. It seems like the thin white pinstripes are less pronounced on the authentic kits, which is probably why the royal blue is more apparent than in the replica leaks. Gothamite
I still don't know about that. Combination of lighting and the white pinstripes can make the royal blue look very light. Just because I love this image, and it never stops ing with my head: The grey squares marked A and B are the same color. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog. leopard88
Normally, I wouldn't rescue a thread from Page 3. However, I felt compelled to say that the white kits looked pretty nice in action last night.
