Based on the city flag, as well as the local history of Hamilton being one of Canada's centres of the Steel Industry early in their history. Also the nickname hammers seems appropriate given that it's HAMilton + the steel thing. Yea, I'm still getting the hang of the design part, I'm still really green. Tend to overdo things a little. I think i'll try something somewhat similar to the portland timbers logo, but maybe have the chains going around the side. Need a better program haha, any recommendations? But just looking for general feedback about different aspects of it. I may end up doing two versions, one more traditional european style and one north american style. Or just make sure everything is symmetrical. If you're going to be deliberately asymmetrical, you need to make it more obvious that that's what your intent is. Was trying to rotate it slightly in two planes(both hammer head towards the veiwer and right side of head towards the veiwer) - its driving me insane. Where is the perspective issue..
