According to the Fox pregame show, this was the first championship (maybe 7 game series?) in the four major American sports where this happened. It was also the first to have the first six games be won by the road team.

DNAsports 5,399 Posted November 3, 2019 In today’s Redskins-Bills game, it is the first time two running backs (Peterson & Gore) with 13,500+ all time rushing yards will play in the same game

DG_ThenNowForever 15,294 Posted November 6, 2019 From NBA reddit, a deep dive into LeBron's 27/7/7. As some of you may know, LeBron famously has a 27/7/7 career average, while never actually putting up those exact stats at the end of an NBA game. Someone went through basketball-reference to pinpoint that he's actually had a 27/7/7 statline for a total of 11 minutes, 49 seconds through his entire NBA career. DNAsports 5,399 Posted November 10, 2019 Less of an interesting fact, more of a “you had one job!” - It’s the 2019 NFL Season -32 teams with 32 starting running backs -They all have numbers, obviously -Here’s how many times each number is used: 20- 1 21- 2 22- 4 24- 3 25- 4 26- 5 27- 1 28- 2 29- 1 30- 4 31- 1 32- 1 33- 2 41- 1 The most used number is 26 (5), while the least used is a tie between 6 (20, 27, 29, 31, 32, 41). Does that matter? No not really. However, every number from 20-33 is used. Every number except 23. No current starting RB this year uses it. The only outlier in this numerical conundrum is 41, used by Alvin Kamara. So I say to that, Mr. Kamara of the New Orleans Saints, YOU HAD ONE JOB! (Yes I know it’s more just a coincidence than anything and not actually Kamara’s fault.)
DNAsports 5,399 Posted December 1, 2019 In the 2019 calendar year, Alabama has suffered three losses. Those losses were to: Clemson Tigers (1/7/19) LSU Tigers (11/9/19) Auburn Tigers (11/30/19) Moral of the story, if you want to beat Alabama, just be a Tigers team.

Since then, at least 1 team has missed the playoffs the following year. With the Rams losing to the 49ers, this streak continues. It’s now been 22 seasons straight with at least 1 conference round competitor of the previous year missing the playoffs.

NicDB 2,933 Posted December 29, 2019 The Packers managed to post a 2-0 record over the Lions for the 2019 season. This, despite holding a lead over the Lions for exactly two plays over both games... the final play of each one.
Jaffa 647 Posted December 29, 2019 A soccer (and uniform-based) one for you - in the 1963-64 season, the Eredivisie title was won by Amsterdam side DWS. DWS played in blue and black striped jerseys - this was the last occasion when the Dutch national champions didn't wear shirts predominantly coloured red and white. No other colours in 55 years!
