I like the hats the way you have them, but you could also go with the C hat as the main and the main logo on the alternate. The only reason for that is that baseball hats usually go with city (or state) initials. But for your project, I think the A logo makes the most sense for the home and road hat. Their alternate wordmark works great in this format. The red alternate looks a little busy, but I was trying to mimic their current home jersey.
