TFoA Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 Why in the world would someone pay THAT much money for a ball that went 75 miles off target?!

lopernv Posted July 19, 2004 Author Posted July 19, 2004 Aren you guys talking about the missed penalty kick ball in the Euro cup VS Portugal? DING!
Saintsfan Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 That is a massive amount of money, so I am not saying I would ever pay that, but its understandable, if you have that kind of money! Imagine owning the ball Scott Norwood skewed wide right for instance, thats about the level of infamy involved here it seems to me! 2011/12 WFL Champions
pcgd Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 well we pay millions for home run baseballs. They are smaller and cost less to begin with. And those baseballs lose their value immediatly after someone belts number 74. (HA HA McFarlene!) The soccer ball holds more lore world wide, like...its the 74th time Beckham missed wide on a penalty, instead of the 74th time bonds hits one out. I don't know...I'm rambling.
uncle_wiggily Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 pcqd is right somewhere in is mad ramblings but it is still a ridiculous amount to pay for any sports memorabilia....
