I wanted the gray 1986 Mets one but the Majestic site doesn't have it and I called the store at Citi Field and they informed me they wouldn't be carrying it. It's strange how some of the jerseys are available and some are not. I know most of you already know but Majestic is having a major sale on Authentic cool base jerseys. Thanks for any help on that Mets jersey. The closest to my knowledge that you will find is the '87 version with the script "New York". Custom Throwbacks has the '87 version: http://www.customthrowbackjerseys.com/

Delicate Genius
This might be a first. Chris Sale was scheduled to start for the White Sox tonight but blew up in the clubhouse and was sent home by the team. The rumour on Twitter is he was mad because the team is wearing throwbacks tonight. Julie DiCaro Verified account @JulieDiCaro Another source says Sale's anger had to do with collar on the throwback jerseys. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Tommy Stokke @StokkeTommy Not a joke: Source says Sale blowup was because he didn't want to wear throwbacks, so he cut the jerseys up so no one could wear them. SFGiants58
While I wouldn't go that far (BTW, that's really immature of him), I agree with the sentiment. Those things are downright ghastly, have outstayed their welcome, and the sooner the team demotes them from full-time alternate status, the better. BTW, the Cardinals are throwing back to 1956 tonight: MLB: Project 32 (Complete), MLB: The Defunct Saga (Complete)

In one image, the Cardinals make me question all previous claims I've made in my head about the current uniform being untouchably perfect. SFGiants58
OK, that makes more sense. They don't have the "guilty pleasure" excuse the 1983-86 set has. MLB: Project 32 (Complete), MLB: The Defunct Saga (Complete)

They just put B hats on the road alt that was it, they didn't bother to take off the LA patch on the sleeve or bother to replace the helmet logo, it's like someone told them to do something last minute, it's a real mess.
