Not every logo will look good that way, but the sharp corners and straight lines of the LA really lend themselves to this treatment. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog. WSU151 Posted April 12, 2016 Share Posted April 12, 2016 I thought they were kind of ugly and gimmicky at first...but matte helmets look pretty good for the teams that introduced them this year. With that said, not really a fan of the 3D LA. Regular decal would have worked fine. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half. Not sure if that made any sense but basically emulate the raised embroidery a little more by being "softer". As it stands, I like it a lot and hope other teams try it. It could be improved by lowering it by a couple of millimeters.
