FinsUp1214
Yep. That pattern is on the jersey.Interesting. It appears it sort of fades out towards the bottom, I could see it maybe starting out at the top of the jersey and fading out to the mid-torso, or at the top of the sleeves towards the bottom of the sleeves. griffin128
The Dbacks could just switch to Diamond Era caps and pretty much have the same pattern on the hat.

coco1997
The more I think about the idea of the Dbacks adding turquoise to their current scheme, the more I like it. I guess it all depends on the execution, though.

FinsUp1214
I just had a thought...the LLWS did this with thier jerseys this year:What I'm imagining in my head as a potential application of Arizona's pattern is something like that. Hopefully not as in-your-face, but similar in idea. If so....ehh, I'm not so sure how I'd feel about that. I'd have to reserve judgement until the reveal, but for now it seems a bit much. I guess it all depends on the execution, though. If all they are doing (color-wise) is adding turquoise to their current scheme, I don't see how it could possibly be an upgrade.Call their current scheme whatever you want, but you have to admit it is at least cohesive. It looks like an identity.I am trying to be open-minded about this, but I can't possibly see how turquoise, sand, black, red, and white can all really look good together. I'm really trying to picture different ways they could try to make it look good, and every possibly scenario I imagine has the turquoise sticking out like it has no place there. TheOatsMustFlow
At this point I hope that what they come up with looks like a completely absurd joke that they have to scrap the identity in a season or less. Then hopefully there's a big enough fan outcry that they go back to the original 90's identity full time....one can dream.

You said together. Hmm.Different home and road or different primary set and alt set, huh? That sounds even more disjointed than the Padres.I'm picturing a pretty similar home and road to what they have now color wise, and a black alt jersey with teal rather than red. Sort of how ASU has their main colors, and now the totally separate colored copper Desert Element set. Pads are picking up a Fauxback that has the same elements in different colors. D Backs are doing something similar, aren't they? On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) FiddySicks
Oh, one more thing I just heard. New BP Diamond Era caps for all teams next year. Each team will have TWO new caps, and the rumor is that one with have the league logo, or even division markings, on the side of the cap. The other cap im not so sure what they're going to do, but it may have the Grapefruit/Cactus League logos on the side. FiddySicks
I'm not sure just how they're going to do it, or exactly what it is, but there is going to be some distinguishing mark on the side panels of every cap. ANGELCAT-IDA61
I read it on page 23 on this thread. There was a link from the Twins web page about them getting a red alternate jersey for next season. However, the link got taken down. That's all the info I have.
