But I have a hard time believing Kirby wants to step out from Saban shadow and them bring in to run the D. I think he'll be the defensive equivalent of Jimbo Fisher. Yes, he's the Head Coach and FSU has an OC (well two Co-OCs), but the offense still has Jimbo's fingerprints all over it. Wouldn't be a bad hire if it goes through.It is still a bad job.Taggert wasn't hired by the current USF AD, so that plus attendance issues there may have him ready to leave what essentially is his hometown college and he left his alma mater for USF.This seems to be a token interview since South Carolina didn't originally consider a black coach at all.
