Another year has drawn to a close, meaning it's time for new faces in new places. Here's a quick preview on the upcoming 2016 season and some things to look out for during the offseason:

1. Michael Waltrip Racing, as we all know, has closed. Clint Bowyer, former driver of the 15, will pilot the #51 5-Hour Energy Chevrolet for H-Scott Motorsports. David Ragan, former driver of the 55, had yet to sign with anyone as of December 1st.

1a. Clint'a arrival means Justin Allgaier will leave the 51 crew. He has since found a ride, replacing Regan Smith as driver of the number 7 JR Motorsports Chevy in the XFINITY Series. Regan has yet to find a ride in either the NSCS or NXS.

2. Out with the old and in with the new: Jeff Gordon calls it a career after 24 seasons, 4 championships, and 93 victories. Young superstar Chase Elliott will take over for the legend as he brings NAPA with him over from the XFINITY Series.

2a. Axalta will make the switch over to Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s #88.

2b. Elliott Sadler, former Roush-Fenway Racing driver in the XFINITY Serues, wI'll replace Chase at JR Motorsports. Potential number change TBA.

3. Sam Hornish Jr. Will not be returning to Richard Petty Motorsports after an abysmal 2015 campaign. No driver gas been announced, although David Ragan and Regan Smith have been rumored to replace the Ohio native.

4. After finishing 4th in the Chase to the Sprint Cup, Furniture Row and Martin True Je. Will switch to Toyota from Chevy, aligning themselves with Joe Gibbs Racing.

4a. Speaking of manufacturer changes, according to MRN, Front Row Motorsports may be switching to Chevrolet from Ford, creating an aliance with Richard Childress Racing. This could open the door for Brian Scott to finally make the switch to full-time NSCS competition.

5. Wood Brothers Racing announced that they will be returning to full time competition in 2016 with rookie Ryan Blaney behind the wheel of the 21 Ford.

6. Robin Pemberton, Senior Vice President of Competition, announced today that he will be stepping down at the end of 2015.

His replacement has yet to be announced.

I actually had no idea about Justin Allgaier going to JR Motorsports. The more you know... Hopefully JR Motorsports will have a good season with the new driver lineup. Allgaier (7), Sadler (5,9?) and probably Ben Rhodes (88). If not Rhodes full-time then probably some rotation involving Rhodes, Kahne, Harvick, and Jr (only for Daytona) in the 88.

the 88 will be an "All-Star" ride with Junior, Kevin Harvick, Kasey Kahne, and Alex Bowman as the drivers.

The 00 truck will be fulltime with Cole Custer.

And then there's always hope the 24 truck will make an appearance at Eldora with Jeff......

So the snowball derby happened & Christoper Bell won....

Until he was DQ for post race inspection due to weight ratio. For the whole time he was there, Bell had issues, his record breaking qualifying run was DQ'ed due to tire measurements.

Although the winner of the derby this year could relate, it happened to him in 2013.

Congrats Chase Elliot, looks like the siren is going off in Dawsonville tonight!

Chris Buscher will be going full time in Sprint with Front Row Motorsports... ROTY is going to heat up this year with Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney, Brian Scott & now Chris Buscher!

Just came here to post this. This puts the rumors of a manufacturer change by FRM to rest as they have a new alliance with Roush.

7. Anheuser-Busch is replacing Budweiser sponsorship with Busch/Busch Light on Kevin Harvick's #4 Stewart-Haas Chevrolet. The new liveries look pretty cool.

Lol finally a Busch car. It's been a long time. The real official beer of Nascar. All we need is the golden High Life Allison car to resurrect lol

Brad Keselowski would more than happy to run that paint scheme. Probably at Darlington, too.
