I'm with you. A teal helmet would be instantly recognizable among the rest of the teams in the NFL. I'd say that's what they've been trying to accomplish with the last two lids.

Here's a live-action mock-up of a teal helmet --

I took the liberty to replace some of the gold on the jersey with teal to match the helmet.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but the uniform needs more gold.

One thing that really struck me when I thought about it yesterday... with the hundreds and hundreds of college helmets that have been worn since the Jags debuted their half-metallic/half-matte look, how many have really followed the Jags' lead?  Not many, if any at all.  I think that speaks volumes, given the wacky state of college uniforms.

Here's the helmet with the unedited jersey for comparison.

Thos looks AWESOME. It would be such a unique look, and actually propels the Jags from one of the worst looks in the league to one of the better looks.

San Diego State had the half/half look long before the Jags did.  Not much is actually "new" in the NFL.  Most new designs and new anything gets started in college.

SDSU's helmet was a black/red gradient, but all gloss IIRC. I was talking specifically about the half matte, half gloss look.

Yeah SDSU's 2000 helmet was more of an 85/15 combo, and definitely not matte.

Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

I mean, San Diego State had that blad to red fade helmet that looked tons better than the Jags mess.

The Jags issue was execution, not concept.

Love the helmet, love the jerseys. Make these the new Broncos primaries, por favor.

(And FWIW, I think the jerseys would absolutely work with the current logo just as well, so I'd be fine with that.)

Yes, the current logo works with this jersey design so add a white version of both the jersey & pants and it's good to go.

Home - Navy/Orange/White

Road - Navy/White/Orange

Looking at the two helmets side by side, the current logo is far superior to the D. And when I see this orange jersey, I can't help but think that's what the Browns should look like.

Agreed. The color rush helmets look like mini versions because the logo is so small. I like how the current logo begins to wrap around the helmet.
