Best NHL Uniforms (from user ratings 1-30)

Inspired by @pittsburghsports16's thread of showing the best and worst logos of all major sports teams in North America, I decided to do something similar with the home and alternate uniforms of the NHL. These are all user ratings (no bias or anything) as of December 16, 2015 at approximately 2:00 ET (ratings change to I'm making this clear). In this thread is the list of all the current home and alternate jerseys put in order.

(Mods if there is already a thread for this that I missed, please let me know, because I don't want to be creating extra threads that don't need to exist...)

Without further ado...

HOME UNIFORMS

1. St. Louis 8.1

2. Chicago 7.4

3. Montreal 7.1

4. Dallas 7.1

Nashville, Florida, Arizona, and Buffalo are all way too high.

Islanders, Rangers, Flyers, and Wild should be higher

I honestly don't know how Arizona and Florida are above #20...

And Boston. They're my most hated team but I think their home/away are top 3.

Yeah I agree...

I think Colorado and Carolina should be lower and Philly a bit higher but yours is agreeable...

The Habs should be higher, too...

* Carolina got a higher rank because the road jersey is great. I do agree that the home is extremely bland, but it's only a few tweaks away from being really good.

** The Islanders got ranked lower because I am not a big fan of the white sleeves on the home. I prefer the dynasty version.

*** Buffalo got ranked very low mostly because of the piping to nowhere which ruins the look, especially the home, and the front numbers. But I also do not like all the excessive trims inside the crest.

I made my list by seeing most of these teams live. Not only are some of these uniform designs are brutal but the color scheme looks terrible on TV. Last week I saw the Blues and Flyers play. So beautiful. Today I'll see the Blues Preds. It'll seem very meh.

The original post would drive my old advanced statistics professor through the roof. People are rating uniforms according to their own personal rating system; some people are rating the uniforms against other uniforms in that team's past, or they could be rating them against the rest of the NHL comparatively, or they could be rating each sweater on its own individual merits.

Really, the only way you can read a chart like that is as an indicator to how happy fans are each team's uniforms, similar a customer service rating. For example, Nashville being 5th with a 7.1 doesn't mean that people actually think it's a better jersey than a Boston or Toronto, but because Nashville has a very shaky uniform history, when they finally settled into something pretty good (for them), people will continually rate them high. Same thing with Dallas and St. Louis, look at what both of those teams had used previously, so obviously any sort of change will be viewed as an upgrade.

The rating numbers are basically worthless as data, but if you are trying to get anything out of it, that's about everything you can do with them.

Yeah I realize that's it's not accurate or 100% correct but I just thought it would be interesting to see how they all added up. Most teams had over 250-300 votes.

I also know some people would rate them based on if they like the team or not. Example, most Leaf fans hate Bruins or Habs stuff because we're rivals.

Chicago should be first (ufffff, I'm a Blues fan). Bring up Detroit, Arizona (love their current look), Philly, and Rangers.

You do know that opening old threads is against board rules?

I mean it's not like the thread is completely irrelevant, but I have seen you open some old threads before...
