There was one game where both teams had on red jerseys at a charity event. We were red with forest green accents, and the other team was red with blue accents. In motion, they looked ridiculously similar, especially when your focus is on the puck. It was the most harrowing game I ever played. I just think that hockey is too fast-paced to not have the teams easily distinguishable from each other, visually. Baseball could do it, but any sport with the potential to pass to the other team is going to have issues. I'm not saying its better than their original sweater, but its MUCH better than their current home. Obviously there are a lot more things that need to be done to make it better, but... Also, I think that NHL teams have to wear a jersey 12-15 times for it to be counted as an alt. The Avs are wearing theirs only 14 times. I know Minnesota is wearing there's 15 times this year, and have before, and it's still only an alt.
