All this potential trade illustrates is that next to CLE, there is no team in the last 15 years who hits "Reset Button" on coaches, management team, and player roster more often then the Miami Dolphins. This time Mike Tannenbaum is the one who hit Reset.  I don't even think BUF does it as often as the Dolphins.

As far as HC, at least, it's very close if you don't include interim head coaches. The Bills and the Dolphins are basically equal (ly awful).

It's hilarious hearing all of the Lions fans today who are absolutely insistent that CJ retired because he was worried about his health and is a family man, and that it had nothing to do with playing in Detroit.

Now, I'm sure those were a slight factor as to why he retired, but people are fooling themselves if they think being stuck on a franchise that perpetually spins it's wheels like the Lions had no bearing on that decision.

It's like the mass exodus the Niners had last year. Every one of those guys retired because of "health concerns", right? Yeah, that's it. It's just a total coincidence that ownership turned them from contenders to an absolute dumpster fire nearly overnight. Going from Jim Harbaugh leading them to Super Bowl shots, to a homeless yes-man couldn't have had any bearing in those choices, right?

I can already tell you from this Lions fan that it feels like Barry Sanders all over again.  It wasn't about health and family, it was the Detroit Lions sucked the fun out of football from another legend. It feels like until the Fords actually sell the team to someone who cares the Detroit Lions will be the laughing stock of the NFL. I love my Lions, but lets face it they are ran by a bunch of monkeys who feel like the Lions are better as a tax receipt than an actual football team.

Now will the Lions actually go out and sign a top tier free agent receiver like Alshon Jefferey and boost their O-Line? I think they can, but I don't think they will do it to the capacity to make them winners. Just call me skeptical...

Not sure who this is, but he has "NFL" in his handle so it must be legit.  This is amazing for the Eagles.

Can you imagine if Denver loses Malik Jackson, Danny Trevathan, and Brock Osweiler in one offseason?  Word is from Schefter that Osweiler is deciding between DEN and HOU

Eagles reportedly to sign Chase Daniel as backup QB.

That tweet claiming that they swapped 1st round picks with Miami has been deleted.  Hmm...

I'm fine with losing Osweiler at the cost it's probably going to take to keep him.  They offered him 3 years, $45 million.  If that's not enough to keep him then good riddance.  Losing Trevathan and Jackson isn't ideal, though.

With that said, I don't know what the options are for replacing Osweiler but it'd be hard to get less out of the quarterback position than they got last year.  I'd be fine with Fitzpatrick, Matt Moore or someone like that and snagging somebody in the draft.

Elway NOT massively overpaying for Malik and Trevathan, plus the three cuts the team made today, plus Peyton off the books, means he'll be backing up the Brinks to keep Brock at 5280.

Should Brock still decide to leave, on the bight side, Denver retained Von for 2016 via the franchise tag.... :|

Ugh. Dolphins reportedly cancelling the trade due to Byron Maxwell's shoulder. The 13 for 8 pick swap was real.

Crap.

@AdamSchefter When Giants finalize deal for former Rams CB Janoris Jenkins, it's expected to be for five-years, $62.5 million, per source.

Chase Daniel agrees to terms with the Eagles. I'm actually hope he beats out Sam Bradford and Mark Sanchez (if the Eagles keep him) to become the starting QB. I've liked him ever since I saw him play for the Redskins in the '09 preseason.

Sanchez will be released.

Bradford is essentially making $23M (assuming they plan to draft QB and cut him after one year) so he's not sitting bench.

Trade with stupid Dolphins will go through and Eagles move up 5spots in first round. Miami is dumb.

LOL Giants.

(I figure Jenkins needed a bigger raise since he can't count on bounty money anymore.)

Muscle Hampster re-ups with the Bucs. 5 years, $7 mil per. IMO, that's a GREAT deal for the Bucs.

While it is a great deal, hopefully he can have back to back all-pro seasons, and not take a 1-2 season break between Pro Bowls.

Back to positives, the Bucs have a dangorous backfield with him and Sims.

Sorry Calvin Johnson retired. Here's a skinny wide receiver who's never been a #1.

Seriously though, I will miss Marvin Jones. Kept defenses from doubling AJ Green. I was at the game in 12 or 13 when he scorched the Jets for 4 touchdowns.
