Except for the minor problem where the field goal also gave Carolina hope because it showed that Denver was going to have trouble actually scoring.  And that was the longest drive, by far that Denver put together.  In the modern NFL, a field goal is still a stop.  The return TD was a far more devastating blow to Carolina than the field goal, hell, the punt return was a more devastating blow (tempered by the fact that "Sheriff" Manning couldn't punch it in despite getting the ball on Carolina's 14 :censored: ing yard line.)  "Sheriff" Manning basically led the Broncos offense to 6 points, which, sadly, is less than 10.  Grape job dude.

Seriously though, Osweiler could have gone 13-23 for 141 yards against Carolina.  At least.

Why are you so butt-hurt over Manning, geeze oh.

The Broncos went on on a run of like 11 straight 3 and outs in the Super Bowl. 95% of the time the offense that does that loses the football game. They won because of a top 5 defensive performance of all-time and Peyton Manning admitted that himself.

I can understand the argument that his presence instilled more confidence in the team than Osweiler did and they thought he was the best option on their roster at that time, but I can't understand from a Broncos fan's perspective wanting another year of tossing grapefruits ripe for the picking. Brett Favre came back in 2010 and it was sad. Manning's 2015 was sad in the same way, except the team somehow won the f****** super bowl. If he played another year it would've more of that except even worse. It was time to walk away.

I keep seeing things like "where will manziel land?" Where will he land? He's an immature drug and alcohol addict who recently punched his girlfriend in the head, and least attractive of all for NFL teams, he's not a good football player. Why would anybody pick him up for anything other than a tryout?

League Sources say that Jerry Jones has already offered him a multi-year contract.

I can't tell if that's crap or not.  I haven't seen this.

My "league source" may or may not be a parking attendant who works for a company subcontracted by the Eagles that didn't even know that Manziel was released, but it's no worse than many of the "league sources" that are reporting things.

Broncos fans currently jumping off the Highland Bridge over the Sanchez trade, but he's obviously coming in as a backup.

Without a doubt, Denver now looks to the draft for their QB of the future.

Solid move.

All those hipsters and their highlands.

Bring in Cook in the draft and you got a solid plan going.

Lol, and Broncos fans were worried about possibly ending up with Kaepernick.

The Broncos gave up basically nothing for a Top 3 backup. And Sanchez knows his role.

What this does is free up the starting job for a rookie. If I had to bet, I'd say Elway's got his eye on Paxton Lynch.

This plan easily beats trading a 2nd rounder for Trashernick and trying to make a starter out of him again.

Kaepernick WANTS to play for Cleveland? Well his Football IQ has always been suspect, I suppose. As a Packers fan, I've seen what Kaep can do to a defense, but the rush of teams interested in him is definitely an indictment of where the QB position stands right now.

I figured Manziel would land in jail just like Todd Marinovich.

Kaepernick has a long history of poor decision making. From posing with a Dolphins hat, to insensitivity toward natural disaster victims, to those bizarre rape allegations -- Him wanting to become a Cleveland Brown over joining the defending champs doesn't come as a shock to me whatsoever.

My "League Sources" saying that Chip Kelly going to sign Johnny Manziel.  This, after cutting or trading all his black stars for their alleged off-the-field issues, even though neither of them had actually ever been charged with anything.  Only thing better is if he also added Riley Cooper.

I was concerned with Kaepernick given his contract and for a second round pick.  I like the Sanchez pickup for a 7th rounder and with his salary if they're able to draft one of the better QBs, which is what I wanted them to do all along.  I'd be disappointed if Sanchez was their answer at QB, but he's not.  He's probably just a guy to come in and compete with a rookie.  Obviously not an ideal situation but if the options are Peyton coming back, paying Osweiler $18 million, giving up a 2nd rounder for Kaepernick and paying him a fortune, or this... I'll take this and just hope the defense is good again.

Hearing ridiculous talk of Denver flipping Sanchez to San Fran for Kaepernick because he's one of Chip Kelly's "boys" -- Yea, because that makes sense. If the 49ers wanted Sanchez, wouldn't they have just given up their own 7th rounder for him?

Logic, people! <_<
