This is literally nit-picking for nit-picking sake lol It really isn't that big of a deal and I don't think it does take away from the uniform as a whole, it's just that I would prefer they stick to using one or the other on the helmets, rather than using both of them on the same helmet. I agree that they're both good looking logos, but as an Oregon fan I prefer when they match the helmet logos, whether it's the combat duck logo or the regular duck logo. I like Mississippi State with the white pants better (as it better matches the 90s uniforms that the jerseys are trying to achieve). I think the garnet USC helmet is one of the best new helmets of the year. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half. upperV03 Posted September 12, 2016 Share Posted September 12, 2016 Oregon is wearing their black helmets in practice today so that leads me to believe that they're likely getting the white lids ready to be worn this weekend at Nebraska. Just speculation at this point but if it's true, I'm hoping to see a white/white/green combo to contrast with the red and white of the Huskers. I'd much rather see the green lids but since they're not wearing the white helmets in practice today (and have worn them in practically all of their other practices thus far) it seems very likely that those are being prepped and will be the helmets of choice for this weekend. The only thing I would like to see would be a switch from metallic stripes and numerals on the helmets to a more traditional finish.
