The first thing I thought when seeing that jersey was that they were playing a prank, like Washington did back in 2014... I almost feel like the designers of that red uni thought, "Hey, Oregon has an alternate with a cartoon animal on the shoulders, and people love those! A Tulsa beat reporter told me that she didn't know if the uniforms unveiled today were core uniforms. This is the curse of being a uni nerd -- you don't realize how illogical and uninformed reporters are until you try to do uni talk with one of them.
