I totally agree. Love the idea of the pre-1970 logo as it reminds me of a car hood ornament. I'd really like to see them refine the lion on that one to resemble a more stylized version of the lion. The current logo is better than either of these. It just needs to lose the black outline, and maybe some of the white highlights. Actually, I had an idea of an entire uniform revision that's very similar to that for the Lions but I don't have the software or technical know-how to make a mockup. My idea was to make an updated version of the 1960s Lions logo and put it on the helmet with diagonal blue and silver stripes similar to Navy's helmet from a few years back. Then the jerseys would have the entire shoulder yoke made silver similar to the look of the Cowboys alternate uniforms, and this would of course be mirrored on the white jerseys with a blue shoulder yoke. Honestly, if they took just took the 94 throwback uniform as is and put the white-outline blue lion logo on the helmet, it would be pretty hard to beat. Blue version of the Raiders (indntical to the concept above vs the Pats, but minus the white keyline) would kill that silver striped look IMO.
