Despite me being a Falcon fan, that's pretty nice.

Bengals on the clock.

What does that have to do with an evaluation of logos / uniforms?  Silly team allegiances should have nothing to do with opinions on aesthetics.

Saints 50th season patch

It's not just a patch. http://www.neworleanssaints.com/news-and-events/article-1/New-Orleans-Saints-to-celebrate-50th-season-in-2016/e5814f6f-6778-4921-941c-c972dc55aa19

Quote

The team will wear special 50th Season patches on their home and road uniforms throughout the 2016 season and the Mercedes-Benz Superdome playing field will also feature the 50th season logo.  The field walls and other in-bowl branding will feature both 50th Season theming and recognize Saints Season Ticket Holders.  The branding will complement the 400 suite level renovations and technology upgrades financed by the team’s $25 million investment in new HD LED video boards (which are amongst the largest in the world) and audio and lighting enhancements.  Along with the emphasis on customer service training, fan experience personnel, enhanced security investments and rebranding of concourse elements these upgrades will help accomplish the team’s goal of providing the best fan experience in the team’s 50 year history!

To tell you the truth, I'm not really a fan of that logo. It's too whispy for my tastes, and the upright Saints logo clashes with the italicized 50. I also don't like the placement of the logo inside of the 0, either.

overall, thats a pretty solid patch. it should look great on the jerseys as a roundel and the type choice is appropriate - the primary font here is their wordmark font and they've been using it a lot in other places. the 50 seems like a good choice to me too. i'm not sure if they needed to have the logo and team name spelled out though, that feels redundant and thats such an awkward logo to work with, i would love to have seen no fleur-de-lis at all, or at least not placed right on top of the 50 where it creates all sorts of tangents and odd spaces around it. the differences in kerning between team name and dates also bothers me, but if they're able to use a metallic gold thread on this i'll forgive all those details.

And I was actually kinda looking forward to seeing the all blacks return in color rush. But now I know i shouldn't have trusted the Falcons upper management to make good decisions.

Uggh... I was hoping for all black too.

And the Saints 50th logo is ok. Nothing special.

They've worn black pants with red jerseys right?  I think they could pull off black pants full time, with any of their three jerseys.

I'd actually like for them to work silver back in to their mix (not wth black jerseys tho) - red and silver would be unique.

So any word on what the draft hats will look like?

I've searched a few times the last couple of weeks and still can't find anything.  Seems kind of odd since the draft is only a month away.
