since we're on the topic of the Vikings, you'll want to watch this! the new stadium is going to be absolutely amazing. i think this is already a top 5 NFL stadium and my hunch is if i get to see it for myself, i might move it to as high as #1 on my list. can't wait to see games here

Guess that's the bar the Rams will have to top (I haven't seen the Falcons' new stadium yet).  That's REALLY nice.

Kinda wish they had stayed outdoors though...that's one of the best home-field advantages EVER.

As nice as the Vikings new place looks, the Falcons new stadium is going to give it a run for its money.

Nah.  Red is so minimal in the logo that to have a jersey in red would be ridiculous.

Maybe its just because I've never been a Ravens fan and am not tied to their look, but as pure design the colors: Black, Gold, Purple, Red work well together. Seems it would be a similar concept as the Texans or Falcons. Again, not for all the time, but for once a season could be fun.

This reminds me of the old Puma Titans fashion jerseys from 2000:

Just seems like Black, purple and gold are so much more part of the brand.   In fact, the red jersey almost looks like an old Pro Bowl jersey when paired with the helmet, seeing as the AFC was the red team.

Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

yea id make the top tier NFL stadiums include ATL, MIN, DAL, MIA, and maybe Indy. im sure LA will be equal as well.

I am very not sold on the Sphincter.  I have to see if they can open that roof wide enough so it's not everpresent; that will determine if Atlanta's stadium is in the top tier or the bottom.

Red is as present on the ravens helmet as yellow is with the Vikings, green is with the Seahawks, and orange is with the buccaneers.. Not sure it'd be my to choice, but I have no issue with them using it

Yellow is also present in the striping on the Vikings uniforms, it is a tertiary color, green is used in the Seahawks uniforms as a secondary or tertiary color depending on what uniform they are using. Buccaneers have a history of wearing orange jerseys in the past. The Ravens red falls under no part of what the other three due. Red comes in 5th in colors they use behind purple, black, white, gold, and then red. It's used so minimally that it really doesn't make sense to make an entire uniform top to bottom excluding the helmet out of it.

Isn't Raven red the Maryland flag/shield (which really isn't a team color, but a state color) and maybe the birds eye? I couldn't condone red for the Ravens nor could I condone the steelers using red or blue under that same circumstance. I totally agree with your rebuttal

You're not biased at all are you? :P

What about Arizona, Seattle, or Houston?

You're referencing jerseys that would not be in the equation if a red jersey were to be worn.. Same with buccaneers orange jersey, acceptance of green/yellow in Vikings/seahawks other uniform elements, etc.. I was simply pointing out that its prevalence on the helmet is not the "make-or-break" factor.. The Seahawk eye is the only green on the helmet, just like the raven eye is the only red, yet the color can be amplified elsewhere on the unicorn to have a justifiable place in the palette.. Am I a huge fan of red-jerseyed ravens? No.. But do I have a problem with it? Not at all.. As I pointed out, others get away with similar color balance issues, so I wouldn't mind it.

You're not sold on the "sphincter" (head in the gutter much?), but you're sold on the Jawa Sandcrawler.  The roof looks like it will open plenty wide, at least as much as Dallas or Arizona.  Minnesota's roof won't open at all.

Purple and Red is an awful combo.

Clemson is almost as bad with Purple/ Orange

I really don't want to see an NFL team use four different colors.

Do the bucs count?

I don't hold up Dallas or Arizona as shining beacons of stadiums to be emulated.  And have said in the past that Minnesota's enclosed stadium is a mistake.

Looking at that bizarre shadow on the field, your graphic makes my point for me.
