Recommended Posts

Aside from previously-mentioned favorites (Troy Davis-era ISU, Thomas Jones-era Virginia, Cade McNown-era UCLA), here's a few of mine:

I wouldn't mind this being an alternate (mostly because I like Colorado's primary set):

Throwing in my own personal pick for a Colorado throwback alt:

Contrasting sleevecaps AND truncated shoulder stripes? Does that mean I can blame BYU for both of these current trends?

I actually like that uniform for some reason.. Update it with the modern LSU/Ole Miss template, and it could look pretty good

That was such a great look. Especially when compared to what SU is wearing these days.

Oh, I will jump in here...

Troy Davis era Iowa State:

His proudest accomplishment...the lowest Wonderlic score of all time. He was literally the dumbest football player to have ever played the game.

White Florida helmet (new one is crappy with two different logos and truncated striping):

Traditional ND green:

Classic Arizona with the stripes...compared to the crap they have now:

The ones that all sprung to mind were already posted, so I won't bog the thread with repeat photos:

UCLA (Clarendon font)

Miami (2001)

Georgia (Black alts)

Notre Dame (green)

Georgia Tech (orgasm inducing throwbacks)

Except Troy Davis didn't score the lowest. His brother Darren scored a four, which has been matched by other players.
