And here are updated files for Texas Stadium

The Classic "White border" fields of the 69's to early 90's and the first field with the Texas Stadium Logo on it.

What are the specific ranges of years used for each of these fields?

I am working on this now. Hard to pull dates off of Getty Pictures. LOL. The Lions field is from October 4th, 1994

Regarding the two Cowboys fields, the first field would be around 1981-95 and the second one from 1996 onwards.

After looking at some video footage, yes it looks like the "classic" Large white border field was in existance from 1980-1995 with 3 to 4 diffrent variants. The very first version in 1980, I believe had the wording "Texas Stadium" in the endzone, and the "Cowboys" font was added in 1981. The "patch on the 40 YL" was installed in 1988. THe field changed slightly in 1994 with the NFL 75th Anniversary logos added in. Then in 1995 the single color "Texas Stadium" logo was painted on the 50 YL. In 1996 the first of the newer generation of artifical surfaces was installed with a tri-color "Texas Stadium" logo for a couple of years. Then in 2002 the last field was installed with no added logos, till the stadium closed in 2008.

I do not have the dates for these fields yet. But here are two classic fields from the Atlanta Falcons days at Fulton Couty Stadium

And the Deion Sanders 1990's "Primetime" era

2015 St.Louis Rams

Knocking out the last of the fields from 2015. Just the Chargers and Raiders to go!

My apologies for responding to an older post, but it bothers me that the Rams' last game in St. Louis was the undignified Color Rush. The St. Louis fans deserved better.

This thread is so gorgeous. The fine execution and attention to detail is incredibly impressive.

Few more Cowboys fields:

1980 Cowboys

Now that was the feild design I saw, and was having a hard time replicating. Great job getting that in!

If you think this thread is awesome, then check out The Gridiron Field Database. Lots of Field goodness there! ?

Here are some Steelers fields I've been messing with from 1970-73.  The combination of fields the Steelers used in 1970 alone was crazy, using different layouts each week it seemed.  So I just matched them up by color to give you an idea, including the once used black endzones.

Ok, since Carolina Just announced they want to put the Panther logo on the 50 instead of the NFL shield. I came up with what I think it would look like.

1970 Steelers updates

Week 1 vs Oilers

Week 4 vs Bills

Week 8 vs Jets

Week 9 vs Chiefs

Week 11 vs Browns

I couldn't get any good look at the endzones for the week 7 game against the Bengals, or the week 12 game against the Packers. The only Black endzone I was able to find was the preseason game against the Giants, which had "GIANTS" in the right endzone in white with a black background, and Steelers 70 in gold on a black background in the opposite endzone.
