nba's online shop has also been pat of fanatics since the season started

i hope they don't stop selling authentic jerseys like the nba

NBAstore.com still sells authentic jerseys. It shows as a "custom" jersey but then there is a drop down menu of players.

Even though it's through Fanatics, I'm not sure they'll just carry whatever MLB gear Fanatics carries. Fanatics may simply be taking over the logistical side of things and running the existing MLB Shop warehouse. Also, for special events caps, you can generally get them from Hat Club or Lids (which is a risk when it comes to U.S. vs. Chinese made). Hat Club gets MOST of the special event and TBTC caps, and unless they were only made in China, they're almost always U.S. made.

I wouldn't count on it. Fanatics has a very similar setup to Genesco (Lids), and it's big enough that they can kinda dictate the market on certain products. If they don't like the return or they're not happy with how a certain product is moving (Authentic jerseys, for example), they'll just stop carrying them and take the potential hit from the few who really care because it's really not going to hurt them in the long run.

Also worth noticing is: if you had an account as a customer on mlb shop, it is now gone .

And again, i cannot believe this move is something they like over at Majestic Athletic. They come out with Authentic jerseys that now feature a new sleeve logo and now you can't purchase them at the official store....wth

Speaking to a friend at Fanatics, they have not received any of their 2016 authentic stock from Majestic as of yet. The current selection is not an indicator of things to come.

It should be noted that, although MLB previously managed the shop on their own, Fanatics handled the fulfillment and most authentic and custom jerseys were shipped directly from Majestic.

I do not see that as true, mlb shop warehouse was in Kentucky, and Fanatics ship from warehouses in Cheektowaga, NY and  Columbus, OH .

Only customized jerseys were shipped directly to the customer from Majestic in Easton, mlb shop had many authentic jerseys already customized in stock, and they shipped quickly from mlb shop warehouse in Kentucky.

Fanatics has had a Kentucky fulfillment warehouse since 2011.

Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

This sucks. I get my authentic jerseys and usually a deal on them. I also like to buy caps from them vs. lids because I know the caps from them will fit me perfectly. Lids is a coin flip and their return system is horrible.

update: just browsed that site...what a piece of monkey trash. Guess it's lids for hats and hope I'll find a majestic % off code some day

No doubt, they often had 25 or 30% off deals

Majestic Athletic has their own store, and I can't imagine that the store won't be back in stock once the season gets closer and the new majestic logo applied to the jerseys.

I also think that the Fanatics MLB store will list them as well, as soon as majestic gets back in stock closer to the season.

Fanatics owns and operates the warehouse in Kentucky. Again, while MLB owned the inventory, Fanatics was responsible for the logistics.

As for what was shipped directly from Majestic, all custom jerseys and most authentics with special event patches were shipped directly. The first wave of many special jerseys were also direct shipped.

I can't speak for what you've ordered or where you live, but Fanatics ships from multiple locations based on inventory, location of the buyer, etc. They are based in Jacksonville, Florida and have warehouses and fulfillment centers in Jacksonville (the primary), Fort Lauderdale, San Fransisco, Boulder, CO, Deerfield, IL, Louisville, KY, Frazeysburg, OH, Conshohocken, PA, and just outside of New York City.

The authentic jerseys are slowly starting to populate on the new site. I imagine it is just an inventory labeling issue. I can't imagine that they will turn down our money for these items. That said, the majestic athletic site still has some really good deals on the jerseys that they have left. I had a 25% off birthday coupon to boot and I was able to order a Cespedes Mets authentic jersey after he signed Friday night for $87!

Yeah, maybe you are right...but the jerseys they have up now are the same i saw on Fansedge a while back, so fanatics and this fansedge store is also the same i guess. Pretty annoying, soon all sellers on the net will be the same big company just using 20 different names
