Super Bowl 50 Aesthetics

With the match-up set for Super Bowl 50, I figured this would be a good place to keep all of the discussion about the game's aesthetics.  Anything from uniforms to ticket design to field graphics.

I am hoping the NFL doesn't go too crazy with the gold and make each team's end zones Golden...

The presumed uniform matchup:

I hope the endzones are Orange and Teal .. make it bright and fun and colorful ... if Broncos got Navy and Panthers go black that would be a shame.

Having said that I think in the past the NFL has usually gone with the blander of color choices .. For example Patriots and Seahawks both had Navy..   Seahawks and Broncos both had Navy ... Ravens had purple and 49ers had red but I'm not sure there were other choices.. Patriots and Giants both had blue (although they prob wouldn't got red for either so again no other choice)

i think its so photos of opposing teams in the end zone don't look very out of place.  In other words if Cam Newton rushes into a bright orange end zone it sort of makes for a weird photo, end zone color becomes a distraction.

That's not how I would want it - I really hope they go Teal and Orange --  but Im guessing the NFL goes with Black and Navy end zones.  Which is what they used for Broncos and Panthers the last time they were each in the super bowl

As I mentioned previously, we'll get a treat in that the first half will be played in sunlight. It's the first California Super Bowl in 13 years, so it's been a while.

I agree with orange endzones for the Broncos, and either color would work for the Panthers. I just hope they use outlines on the wordmarks and don't go the ultra bland route they've gone the last few years of only using dark colors and no outlines. Actually, I'll go ahead and predict they take the gold outline from the sideline caps and port it over to the endzones. Gold outlines on the wordmarks. That wouldn't look good on the Broncos endzone, but it didn't look good on the Bears logo on a gray cap, either. That didn't stop the NFL before.

I hope for the return of the classic helmet endzones (even if for just one game), but I don't think that'll happen, unfortunately.

They'll probably go with navy blue and black endzones because the Super Bowl field hasn't looked good in years.

I miss the helmets. They were the best and you could count on the Super Bowl field following a system every year. Just another thing that added to the bigness of the big game was seeing your team's helmet in the "official" Super Bowl endzone.

Here is what I meant with the Golden end zones:

This would be an abomination. I don't think even the NFL is that nutty on making everything gold... At least I HOPE not.

The orange end zone would be the best, but I highly doubt they do anything besides navy and black.

Gold end zones like that is unlikely since there is not enough contrast between gold and the white lines.

I would imagine a navy Broncos end zone and a black end zone for Panthers.

Last time Broncos were in SB, they had the navy end zone. Last time Panthers were in, they had a black one.

But I agree with CreamSoda and his wish as well. I like bright colors.

Go A's!

Would the NFL let the Broncos wear there blue? They might want to wear blue since the orange jerseys are cursed. Or they can just wear their white. Which would make the Panthers wear black. I've been disappointed the Panthers have only worn their white uniforms for the playoffs. Their white uniforms are so bland.

I'm betting on orange and black endzones. Now that the Broncos have had 3 years to establish that they're an orange team again, I'm optimistic that they'll go back to orange endzones like they had in their first 4 Super Bowls. The Panthers will get black because that's what their home endzones are, and it's still technically their primary color.

I'd like to see this, but I know there's a very small chance of it happening. It's been 20 years since they used the helmet system.

I'm at my daily quota of likes, but I would like this post 1,000 times if possible. That would be incredible. Daylight. Bright colors. Helmet endzones. The Broncos wordmark needs a white outline, and they'd probably use black for the Panthers wordmark, but outside of that it's perfect.

Too bad we can't get a Panthers in blue vs Broncos in orange game. The NFL pushed this stupid color rush crap all season, why not go for broke, yet still keep it relatively classy, in the Super Bowl?

I actually don't mind this. The Orange- Carolina Blue would be much much better though.
