FiddySicks
So yeah, I REALLY like this Giants lineup. Top to bottom, this may be the most complete team they've ever had. infrared41
Anyone watching this Cubs - Arizona game? It's 6-4 Arizona, Jean Segura has hit 2 HRs - one of which was inside the park, David Peralta has a double and a triple, and it's only the top of the 4th. Fun stuff. EDIT: Dexter Fowler with the triple to make it 6-5. That makes two triples and an inside the park HR in 3 1/3 innings. This game is insane. Baseball is awesome. infrared41
Throw another triple on the fire. It's now 8-6 Cubs in the top of the 4th. Of course, tomorrow the final score will be 2-1. Great game this baseball.
hbgoo1975
The Giants are going to win the World Series not only because it's a leap year, but one of the reasons is because they like their road gray jerseys with piping.

I liked it as well; the interleague cat is long out of the bag so might as well drum up some intrigue with it. However, there are two factors that likely restrict this: a) the schedule is released in September of the year prior. That the Mets and Royals met in the World Series and then to start the following season really was just a freakish one-off scenario; hell, I don't even want to know what the odds of that happening are. b ) The Royals, or, at least Ned Yost, kinda hated it, and I can see why the team conducting a ceremony touting their championship over their opponent the year prior (...this scenario would always involve the winner starting at home, right? Should be the case regardless, frankly) might feel a bit uncomfortable with inadvertently rubbing it in. Now, obviously, a) is an entirely adjustable aspect; frankly, I've never understood why MLB releases their following years' schedule before the end of the current year in the first place, because no other professional league I know does that; seems like they could wait until November and give baseball fans a little something to latch onto and discuss than dropping it randomly midday, midweek, during the pennant race. b ) seems like it would be a bit more difficult to compensate for, however. Sport
Gonna enjoy this for at least the next few days. I don't think you know what a leap year is... Winning in one leap year doesn't qualify them to be The Official Team of Leap Year'sTM. CS85
Schwarber sprains his ankle gruesomely, but it doesn't stop the Cubs from putting 14, as of press time, on the Diamondbacks. The Cubs are averaging about 10 runs a game so far. I will be so angry if they can't keep this up for 180-odd games. Quote "You are nothing more than a small cancer on this message board. Cujo
Schwarber hits the deck. Piece of human feces, John Lackey, reminds Cubs fans why they didn't want him. Yet, the Cubs offense bails them out with FOURTEEN GOT DAM RUNS.

Well, because his theories are pretty much like him: Insane. Anyway... I'm happy right now. 19 runs in two games for the Mariners. That makes me smile.
