Burmy
Not sure which hurts more...losing Luc or my Brew Crew talking trades with the Rangers without even TRYING to get Prince back... EDIT: I know he's probably out for the season, but still...it would've been nice even as a symbolic gesture.

I do like Duffy, and a buddy of mine from your area says Lucius Fox could be a stud (I love that we traded for Batman's tech advisor). Where could Duffy slot? He played 3B for you, but we have Longo there.....can he play SS? Duffy is a mostly fantastic fielder, so I'm sure Tampa will be able to find a spot for him. I still don't really like this trade (and HATE the Will Smith trade), but after absorbing it a bit more, I understand why they did it. Puig could get sent down? I really haven't been paying attention. Has he been that bad this season?

ninersdd
Not something you see that much: an ump during the Giants-Phillies game tossed a fan. Apparently this same ump(Bob Davidson) tossed a fan in 2010 in Milwaukee for yelling slurs at Yadier Molina. Sport
The rest of this season is about the Cardinals missing the playoffs. Let's make it happen, field. Scott Schebler crushed that walkoff. Sometimes you sit down and watch a random game for no reason in a stupid pointless season just because and I'm glad I took that one in. That was fun. Kramerica Industries
You know that St. Louis, with a losing record at home, 57-51 overall, and not likely to win much more than 90 games at most this year barring a scorching run, well, this is the exact kind of season where they end up winning the World Series, so consider this your wet balloon reminder post. Granted, I don't watch as much baseball as I once did, but it seems like I haven't heard much about the Cardinals this season.
2001mark
Jays set 4 game series MLB record for batter strikeouts with 61. Previous record of 58 was in 1913. I think it was also mentioned the Blue Jays & Astros combined for 101(?) strikeouts, not sure if that's a record yet it must be close. Toronto won 3 out of those 4 & now move back into tie for 1st. @2001mark
