footballfiji
Pittsburgh baby. But to be fair the Pirates did use red for a bit and the Penguins did use blue. But mostly just Gold and Black Plainsman Parking Lot. Auburn Baseball Blog
See Red
Who put the bomp in the bomp bah bomp bah bomp?oh... sports logos questions. also -- I'd imagine naming a team after their socks were because their sock served as an identifiable thing that maybe set them apart from the rest of the league. Maybe? And the MLB logo's nose is too pointy to be anyone specific.
MidwestEagle
The MLB logo is Harmon Killebrew. Fox sports made some refrences to him being the bais for the logo during the all star game. When the Senators moved, they change their name, so why didnt the Dodgers change theirs to something since its short for Trolley Dodgers and there is no trolleys in LA? See Red
No matter what Fox Sports said -- I think it's just a generic guy because Killebrew didn't have a nose that damn pointy.
